I guess the river is either a check or a b/f?
Could maybe have bet more on the flop & less on the turn??

you played it fine, except river, check behind, no value from worse and better check/raises us

Well river seems like mandatory value bet for me. Villain has lot of weaker hands to call. Not sure why we are so hesitant to bet two pair on this board. Though I would bet smaller like 300. When he does raise its likely he has us beat.

But no reason to shove as remaining 400 chips still has value. So options making sense are calling or folding.
