Well the first thing that I would do is a standard OR against limpers so something like 4x.

Now to comment the line that you have taken.
I think that the fact that he is a tight player and that he has a low WTSD he surelly has a Qx hand maybe even 2pair but the board got way to scary for him OTR.

If I had more info on him like some reads sure I would bluff why not because as I said his most likely holding is Qx. And the fact that you checked when the board was relatively dry and then called a pot sized bet when it got a lot more drawy and OTR many draws complete and you can even see it by his bet sizing that he wanted to save that 1 cent in case you got a straight.

And you could easily have it since you just check from BB which means any 2 cards basicly.

So ye I think it was a good bluff since there are a lot of things that make you able to represent a straight.

What about the bluff sizing? Wouldn't 60c be enough?

EDIT: If he had a strong Qx, wouldn't he lead out the flop?

I think that even 50c would do.

About that other question, I totally forgot to think about that. Well either way he played a Qx wierd or he might got a FD OTT and wanted to semi bluff and I guess tried to represent a straight OTR.

But I think that I would fold OTT (unless I would have a read that he rarely has it when he bets pot) since our hand is basicly a bluff catcher and it worked this time but I don't think that it would work often enough.

For the given villain's stats, flop check in a free play pot/turn pot size lead me think Q with low/medium kicker (Q9s, Q8s?) that he didn't dare to lead out against UTG limp on flop or two pair completion on turn (65, 64?).

Did not put villain on a pure flush draw. FD+something maybe, but what then (Q8+hh?). River block bet seemed like an indication of a hand that villain does not perceive to be very strong and hopes for a cheap showdown with a worse hand in hero's hands.

Agree regarding turn - could have folded. But that was the plan: call and bluff river, if I get low non-heart card.

Well I am currently not on that lvl of planning yet you know and I learned about blocking bets today, but participation here makes me learn I think.

BTW currently playing 2NL but I think I am on a good way to understanding the game more and more day by day :), thats why I am participating on your threads I express my thinking if a am wrong even better I learn even more.
