HM2 Stopped showing HUD for iPoker Speed tables

The last time this happened, it seemed to fix the problem when I closed both programs, then opened William Hill then HM2.

This time 3 attempts all failed.
HUD displays and updates correctly on normal tables.

Hands are imported and reported correctly in the Reports section.

I have read the article "How to setup Holdem Manager to run with IPoker Speed Tables".

The time in the lobby is set to "local" for both iPoker skins I play on.
Hands are imported showing the correct time.

The active player name is not an alias, and matches the room.

Point 8: Order of operations -- I've tried opening HM2 first, and I've tried opening iPoker first.
Neither worked. I tried both skins.

I'm not sure what "Begin Importing Hands" refers to, as my HM2 is always set to import hands.

I looked over all the questions in the Bug Reports Thread, but everything appears to be correct.

[Edit: I checked the Active Session tab, and the table is listed in the "Open Tables Detected" section, is marked w/ a checkmark and the pot size is displayed correctly.]

Are others having problems?

I don't think this is a general problem.
Did you try to reboot your computer?

Hello,

had the same problem, make sure you run everything as administrator(casino.exe,HM2 executable and HUDfunc or something liked that inside your HM folder). Go to properties and in compatibility tab tick the option where it stands "run as administrator".

Yeah, I've done all that, and the Anti-virus stuff as well.

I will try again today with a fresh reboot and post the results.
I'm not hopeful, though, as the last time I tried was only a short time after a restart for other reasons.

Hello

My Hud stopped working on ipoker speed tables a few weeks ago after a hm2 update.

The cause of the problem was that my antivirus program (F-secure) was deleting the blitz.dll file in the holdem manager 2 folder thinking it was a trojan. I fixed the problem by re-installing hm2 and making my antivirus software quarantee the file instead of deleting it and then immeadiately restoring to the HM2 folder and then starting HM2. I had to do this for a couple of days but eventually f-secure got updated and stopped thinking it was a trojan.

Another solution would have been to configure F-Secure to ignore those files and the holdemmanager installation folder.

Well this is totally bizarre.

I even knew about the blitz.dll thing, since when it came up before, I checked my anti-virus (AVG) and fixed it.

See:
HM2 blitz.dll trojan horse generic c11 found -- false positive?

So since I had already fixed that, I didn't check it.
AVG is configured to ignore "C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 2"

There was another file in quarantine as well. "StarsCommunicator.hm2"
I restored that also.

Ya think maybe I'll remember next time?

All works now.
