Villain is unknown, 27/5 over 40 hands. I'm not even sure about my cbet on flop as it is 3-way. I plan ch/f almost all turns, it's one and done on dry board. I think it makes no sense to keep betting even when I hit the best turn possible. But, what about river? Is there any sense to bet small to get value from Kx? As played, river easy call against this sizing?

SB: $5.61 (112.2 bb)
BB: $11.09 (221.8 bb)
Hero (UTG): $5 (100 bb)
MP: $4.90 (98 bb)
CO: $6.61 (132.2 bb)
BTN: $5.79 (115.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J A
Hero raises to $0.15, MP folds, CO calls $0.15, 2 folds, BB calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.47) 2 K 9 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.28, CO calls $0.28, BB calls $0.28

Turn: ($1.31) A (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO bets $0.50, BB folds, Hero calls $0.50

River: ($2.31) A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.35, Hero ?

Hi leshkopoker

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: what do we know about BB here? The cbet is marginal as we don't have absolute position and we are stuck between players.

And as played why check the turn to him? Bet it yourself (half pot) and given your line I can't see us folding the river. So it's between a call or a raise and raise seems thin.

I've already written that villian is unknown, so don't know anything about him except those stats which could be misguiding. Any sense in betting small on river for value?

You said Villain which implies CO (who is last in the hand with us).

i was asking about BB who is the other villain here.

I guess you could bet the turn but I don't really want to get to the river that way where we ck/call that fine turn card.

Bet/bet/bet would be my line.

Thx for the evaluation, sry i misread you question. BB is 50/40 fish, ftcbet 25%. This makes my cbet even worse, right?

I would bet/bet/bet as well
flop bet size seems fine i would bet 30-35c here since I will get a lot of folds from players that missed
on turn I would bet 1-1.1$ since most players at this limit will not fold Kx since they get stuck to their own hands specially these type of players you've mentioned
now for the river personally i find this and easy shove over the top think about it what hands call your pf raise and do not 3b? I think that AK and AQ will 3b a lot beeing in possition so opponents range is something like any PP KQ and lower Ax hands. When you check this turn you will induce ALOT of bluffs from these players, they will bet any almost entire range here since they see the A as a scare card for you and will try to get you off Kx with their small pockets that did not hit a set. Now looking at the betsising of opponent it looks like a value bet so it could mean that he has Ax as well and wants a call from Kx and now on river he makes half pot so i think mostly he has Ax here like and he thinks since board paired you might pay him off ofc he might have full house here easily with something like A2s A9 therefore I think this is easy shove for value on river all of his Ax are definetly calling and if you happen to run into fullhouse vs A2 or A9 then so be it but often you might even get called by some PP like TT since they just wont believe in you having an ace since you checked twice.

I hope my logic makes sence to you if you want to make things simple just bet bet bet and you should be fine in most cases now theres another thing that bet bet bet helps at and it is if you get raised on turn or river you can know that youre probably beat since Nl5 players make their value bets on turn and river most of the time and specially river re-raises are really scary so I hope you learned something and gl at the tables
