Do we have any NHL/ice hockey fans here? Worlds biggest and best ice hockey league is about start soon. Right now there is preseason going on and teams are making decisions which players are going to be at the roster when the actual season starts.

Defending Stanley Cup champion is Los Angeles Kings (two Stanley Cup victories in the past three seasons). Here`s a video from last season final match.

In this thread we can discuss about everything is happening in this season. :)

I’m watching Ice hockey at the Olympics, because than is it on Dutch television and is interesting too watches it.
Hopefully Henrik Lundqvist wins the Stanley Cup this season. He’s I think 1 of the best goalkeepers ever.

Great thread - I watch hockey whenever I want to see a manly sport (together with Rugby are my favorites). Not following it obsessively through.

Nice video, I always prefer the "enforcer" ones though :P

Definitely one of the best ever. I hope Anaheim or Boston wins the cup. Anaheim is my favourite team. I`m hoping Boston to win because it would be great to Tuukka Rask won his second Stanley Cup because first time he was their second goalie. And hopefully Tuukka will get the best goalie award this season too.

So far Finns have played quite well in the preseason. Exciting to see which of them earn their place in the roster.

Most likely is Los Angeles Kings still team to beat.
Hopefully a Canadian team can surprise them and wins the Stanley Cup :f_love:

I don`t think that any Canadian team from western conference will make it to playoffs this season. Vancouver is possible playoff team but overall other teams are stronger than the Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg or Edmonton.

A Canadian team that has the money to compete for players is a scarce thing.

Vancouver has the fan base, but they are so cruel to the players when they make mistakes that no sensible player would really want to play their. Luongo, for example, basically tilted.

Vancouver goes through goalies like a forest fire goes through trees.

I've had my playoff beard since '92

How is it going on the moment in the NHL NutzAreOk?
You know also a good stream to follow the action or are most matches after midnight (CET)?

Sry that I`m so late with the answer.

I don`t know any free streams. I think you can buy one from NHL.com.

Standings at the NHL are now pretty much like I thought they would be. Biggest suprise must be Nashville which is atm first at western conference.
