In particular, I see little sense in claiming less than $200 as the starting bankroll under these rules. I think of the 'bankroll' for the purposes of this promo as of a 'stoploss', i.e. an amount a player is ready to lose lifetime (during the course of the promo) if things go sour.
Even if a member isn't ready to lose $200 right now, s/he might want to inject additional money into poker as soon as it's earned elsewhere. But setting the stoploss at less than $200 now, s/he makes the task tougher (the bustout probability gets higher, but the success probability stays the same). And I hope everyone has a net worth of at least $200 anyway ![]()
Besides, the poker field is getting tougher too fast, it's too expensive in the long run to fool around at the nanostakes when one can confidently beat a bit higher microstakes that still have few regs. I must have missed out on an insane amount of cash by not playing adequate stakes in 2009 when I would be yet beating them.
