Hello everybody. My name is David and i come from Poland.

I started playing poker few years ago without success - i had no enough time, no motivation. I was just B/E player. Last time i decided to return to poker, i bought HU Mastermind and i'm going to pass through all steps, homeworks etc... documenting everything in this blog. So let's start ♠_cool:

Yesterday i watched first videos about preflop basics and 100% preflop raise. I learnt how important is opening 100% hands from BU and when i should play less then 100% hands. I played also my first poker hands from really long time and i was welcomed with nice up swing.

I made my homework for chapter 4 - "Preflop Raise 100Percent"

Post 20 hands where you have raised the Button with a hand that you normally wouldn´t have raised before watching this video

Record a short 15min video of yourself, where you play 100% of Buttons. Don´t be lazy, play 100% of Buttons no matter what

Think about how you would adjust against yourself from now on. Write down 3 key points.

1. I need to play more than 35% hands from BU to make 100% BU open unprofitable
2. I should 3bet as much as possible - depending on opponent's fold to 3bet
3. I can be more aggresive postflop just because opponent has very wide range

Today iPoker had some technical problems but I was able to play about 500 hands with 20BB profit.

Today was a very long day. I watched chapter 5: Preflop Minraise and Other + Fold.

Summary:

I should minraise when:

opponent is extremely aggressive and 3bet more than 20%
do not call a lot from BB
if opponent has small stack (about 30bb)
if opponent is insanely aggresive and 3bet more than 30-40% we can limp/call some hands

Folding:

i can consider folding some hands when opp have 3bet bigger than 20%
i should never play less than 70% hands from SB

I also played almost 1000 hands with +4BI result.
