Hi legand73

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I don't mind your line here. Villain is either checking to ck/raise or ck/fold. So checking back to let his random Ax/Kx bluffs to catch up is fine.

Turn bet should be no bigger than 1/3 though.

How come? When he checks, he's x/folding a ton. So is it because we risk less or do we want to induce?

Any hand we have here would/should bet the same. If you had value why bet any bigger? It's not like he has much. And bluffs make a decent portion of our range too so we risk less.

If we're playing AK this way, are we balancing it with AA or are we only playing AK this way? If yes won't it be super easy to read?

2 things come to mind:

1) our range should be wider than just AK here
2) this is 25nl, why would I worry about balance in a spot like this (that almost never comes up and we have no history/info)?

What else are we playing like this? AQ and some pocket pairs?

At least AQ and maybe some hands like TT/JJ although we generally bet our pairs here.

We can also check back hands like AA/KK from time to time because the value is very limited.

Are you putting ATs, AJ in our range pre?

Admittedly I wouldn't be doing this pre w/ these hands but i'm not averse to the idea.

No, except maybe some of the suited ones if you do 3-bet them.

But otherwise I don't like 3-bet calling in these positions with easily dominated hands.
