reg who likes to plays tricky as this time. He raises me like this super often, and off course I am folding with some frequency, but whenever I called he had better hand. I filtered all his hands for raises, and really never saw him bluffing, only 2 times was turn with strong draws, and more than 20 times value. Saw him several times totally overplaying hands.

So I am folding exploitatively vs his raises, but called here beucase even though I dont see him bluffing, he raises vs me specifically supe often (maybe crazy variance that each time I call he doesnt bluff)

Why even bet this flop? Check fold flop imo.

After checking turn I think we kinda have to call river.

my range crashes the board, so I want to have some thin value bets/protection as this one. also this guy knows that I cbet 33% with strong hands as well and he folds vs such size. Also if I would want to bluff, this size would anyway fold his low equity hands in the same way as it would fold with bigger size

on river I dont think the reason for a call should be because I checked turn. I dont think he bluffs here, but I called because he could raise AK, KQ, KJ this way (as I said I saw him overplaying hands when raising).

I think most players rarely bluff in 3bet pots when its a monotone board. So I still think check folding without the Jh here is better than betting.

Also if you think that he's only raising for value then this we can make an exploitative fold here imo. Doubt he'd raise KQ and KJ with both a flush and straight possibility especially with that sizing.

I think x/c flop would suck here, so we can either bet or we can x/c. I think we can make an argument for cbetting blind and since we have to x/f JJ anyway, I think it essentially just makes betting super borderline. X/f should be fine on this texture - this doesn't make betting bad or anything.

Why are we not value-betting turn?

I agree with clawindsouza on river - I don't see how we can really bet/fold river after turn goes x/x. Well done to villain for slowplaying I guess.

I thought he will bet super often on turn for value bluff or protection which is why i check.
River still imo snap fold vs someone who i still didnt see bluff raising. The previous actions dont matter much. He is the guy who likes to trap a lot, he is capable to check turn with 2 pair or set and raise river.
I was in a huge downswing in last few sessions, which is why i called, and before that i was all the time making exploitable folds vs him.

i don't think SB's range really crushes this board v a MP range. But I think a highish cbet is probably best because sb's range is very vulnerable. I think something like 60-70%.

JJ without a heart fits in this well.

I think it's a bit of a mistake to not bet the turn.

As played betting on the river is fine (bet size is whatever) and you pretty much have to call it off if the guy is capable of bluffing at decent frequencies. Not really close.
I really doubt he's overplaying KQ on the river though, that would be pretty amazing... I think the decision to call or not, is 'does he have bluffs', not is he overplaying some marginal hands. If he doesn't have bluffs, then just fold.

seeing his showdown, that he is calling preflop that wide. If you know that, then that would change things. It makes the turn closer, but I still think probably betting is best. But it means should be checking entire range on the river and just doing whatever based on how big he bets. i.e. if he shoves, can fold JJ if he bets 2/3 pot can call.

I saw this guy 4way raise bet and call on flop KsQsJs with JhQh and play for stacks vs me.
Or check behind turn AK on Kh8s7s2d and check raise river Qc. And many similar stuff. He is trying often to outplay opponents by playing fancy.

One hand he called my 3bet 100bb deep from BU with 2s5s and checked flop and turn behind with fd (no pair), river hits flush on paired board and shoves vs my bet. And several times cr flop with overpair even 3way and then check turn (I also check), and then cr river. So in general he has quite good frequencies, but often very strange plays and spews. And is one of toughest for me to play against in player pool.

Lol I thought the same. I just wrote in forum few weeks ago how this forum is the worst I ever seen from functionality point of view and design, and now they change it :)
