SB: $10.25 (102.5 bb)
BB: $10.28 (102.8 bb)
MP: $8.61 (86.1 bb)
CO: $12.39 (123.9 bb)
Hero (BTN): $10 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with T T
MP folds, CO raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, 2 folds, CO calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.95) 9 J 3 (2 players)
CO bets $1.46, Hero raises to $3.25, CO raises to $11.49, Hero folds

CO- 37/29 over 151 hands, AF 3.4

Pretty aggro play here all around. I'm not getting it in here vs this guy pre so perhaps 3betting him wasn't such a great idea.

Postflop in raise/folding we fold out his bluffs and get called by his draws and then I guess I have to just check down.

Maybe he's polarised on the flop though because I can imagine some strong hands scared of the check back so they lead but then there's not many hands that hit this board that play this way preflop (9 combos of sets some J9, but even then JJ is doubtful).

Hi legand73

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: he is donking 3/4 pot into you. Why raise there? He ain't folding a better hand and even draws can ship it there. You have a bluffcatcher and not much more so raising there doesn't really add up with your hand when you are folding to a 3-bet.

Ok so either simply call his bet or get it in if I 3bet. I don't like getting it in so I prefer a call instead of a 3bet.

I was also factoring in that there are a lot of turn cards we don't want to see because our hand is so vulnerable so 3betting allows us to take the pot down some of the time and we can be done with the hand.

Hi I would call on the flop and see what he does on the turn, a :club: could slow him down...he has to play OOP so he makes more mistakes.

I just don't see you winning this hand enough by raising there... and the little equity you have is all out the window now.

So I would just call, play IP and take it from there.

You can leave raises for hands that have less SD value (and yes with position we can get to showdown even from this scenario).
