I already have a pokerstars account so theyre off the table. I would like a room that offers a similar type of game to the one i play at the moment. i play 3-5 hours each UK evening at NL Hold em, fifty fifty, sit n go $3.50 games. I play 2-3 tables at a time.

Over the coming few months im interested primarily in improving my game and of course any results reflected by that improvement but the cash is a secondary goal, depth of knowledge is primary focus for me at this time.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hey Moreirense,

As you already hold PokerStars and an iPoker account, I would recommend a MicroGaming skin like 24h / Poker Heaven or 888.

MicroGaming is probably best because it offers 200% FDB plus as a PokerStrategist you get 30% lifetime rakeback.

NLHE Zoom/Rush/Speed/Fast-fold

NL10-25

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
SH

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)
~40-50k hands a month

5. How many tables do you want to play?
2 Zoom/Rush/Speed/Fast-fold

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
NL25-50, maybe 3 tabling and slightly improving volume to 50-70k a month

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play?
EET (GMT +2 or +3 I believe). I'm playing around 11-15h and 20-02h.

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at?
PokerStars, I'm kinda happy here, but looking for a better rakeback deal or/and softer tables.

Hey Sadaus,

I have included some screenshots.

Spoiler

iPoker (Speed)

MicroGaming (Blaze)

888 (Snap)

888 has the best traffic but the worst rewards. iPoker and MicroGamng skins also offer 200% FDBs. MG offer guaranteed lifetime 30% RB but with your volume you would probably qualify for up to 32% RB at a site like William Hill.

Thanks a lot, Lazza61, for your effort! I thought a lot about 888poker, but I saw that their rake system is terrible. 4$ capped rake, that's just sick. Sadly, I don't like iPoker skin at all, their software is terrible. And mincrogaming has very few players in this format, so I believe I'll stay at Stars :)

Hey braca,

Unfortunately fast fold poker is pretty dead at MicroGaming and Ongame although both have plenty of regular 6 max running. PokerStars is the obvious choice with Zoom and iPoker with Speed. It depends on whether you want to grind of a bonus at another iPoker skin or you may require it for tracking.

I started playing poker in facebook only in 2009 and got addicted to it. I also even played with friends and relatives for a small amount of money. However, I became inactive due to my busy schedule at work. Now, I finally have time again for this game but unfortunately, I have this memory gap already lol. So good thing I remembered that I joined this forum and now reading all the topics that can help me play and win again. Keep posting guys. I love reading your entries.

Hey Galador82,

Unfortunately FR Fast Fold poker doesn't exist outside of PokerStars. Everywhere else is 6-Max apart from OnGame network (Strobe) which is 5-Max.

888 is the only site where FR seems to be growing, but at regular tables, not Snap.

NL 25 Short Handed

I play around 2-3 hours on weekdays and 5-6 hours on weekends, but I have plans to start playing full time.

From 2 to 4 zoom tables, never played regular tables, but wouldn’t mind doing it.

My goal is to beat nl25 and build a bankroll to move up to nl50.

I live in ireland atm but I will be moving to Brazil before christmas, and I usually play after 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.

I just have an account in Pokerstars atm.

Hope you guys can help me =]

Hey, I want to start playing through pokerstrategy but can't decide where to start.

1. Which game type you play? 9man turbo/regular SNGs

2. Which limit do you play? $1-$7

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? Full ring

4. How much do you play? 25 hours/week

5. How many tables do you want to play? I'm able to play 9 but gonna start with 4 and fully focus and later aftear a few months try to get to 12+... so basically let's say something in the middle like 6

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? work on my game a lot so playing a bit less tables, climb the limits, build br..

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play? GMT+1/afternoon

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at? Pokerstars(I want to play on some other site though and also not fulltilt), Netbet/titan/888 is maybe suitable for me?

I'd really appreciate your help! thanks

Hey ngoclekhdt,

I think your best option would be to look at a MicroGaming skin such as PokerHeaven or 24h Poker.

If you sign up through the links above you will get lifetime Platinum status (at PokerHeaven or 24h poker) which guarantees you 30% rakeback for life. You will also be eligible for a 200% First deposit bonus.

Traffic also looks pretty nice atm.

Let us know if you need to know more.

Laz

Hey Matorzinho,

I think your best option by far is an iPoker Skin. We have quite a few to choose from here

iPoker skins include NetBet, William Hill, Coral, Gala, Titan, Bet365, Betfair, Betfred, Winner, PaddyPower, Everest, Ladbrokes or Mansion.

Traffic is pretty good.

If you need any further help, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi, I'd like to open a tracked account and could use some help as to where I should do it - thanks :).

1. Which game type you play?
Sit & Go 6-handed

2. Which limit do you play?
Will be progressing from $1 buy-ins to potentially $55 buy-ins (and up maybe) in 6 months, that's the plan.

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
I'm not entirely sure, does this refer more to cash games?

4. How much do you play?
2hrs a night in the week, 4hrs on a Saturday and between 2-4hrs on a Sunday. Total of about 16-18hrs.

5. How many tables do you want to play?
I don't think I'm in a position to answer this question accurately at the moment.

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
Intense 6 month aim: Get up to a buy-in and skill level where I will be earning £1k a month (about $1.6k USD)

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play?
GMT+0
Times in the week will be anywhere between 4:30PM and 10PM
On the weekend anywhere between 6AM and 5PM.

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at?
Only at 888poker, not tracked.

Hey sol8921,

You should definitely check out PokerStars where you will easily find SnGs to play anytime you want. You can also get a great bonus up to $600. Important: remember to clear cookies on your browser before downloading PokerStars client. :f_thumbsup:

Kind regards,
Crimson
