1st one is standard. Just a WTF! moment.

2nd hand is close, I don't see him bluffing on the turn much? Betting again for value from A-x hands that want to call and make straight. Turn raise is very strong so it's either two pair or some made straight IMO. Looking to get opinions on that hand. It's 9man fr zoom so it's super nitty.

3 hand with the straight flush draw, my thinking at the time was "this turn looks super weak" I don't know... min bet on the turn? maybe a flush draw or a some straight draw that wanted to see the river cheaply. Then again I have the J ♦ so that destroys Q:d j:D. Not really sure TBH. I felt my hand beats some of his range like his weaker draws, but of course I lose to K-x which he did have and unfortunately I didn't win that hand. I don't know, I think I may have done the same thing again.

Hand 2 is an easy fold. Even in SH game, facing a turn raise, one pair hands are usually no good.

Hand 3 there is no reason for going all in. I think you're right in your evaluation, but at NL10 I dont expect we can bluff away a king, and we dont WANT to fold out a worse draw that we're already ahead of. Especially not if we can flush over flush him OTR. If I'm raising the turn, I opt to raise smaller for value vs worse draws since I'm never expecting to fold out a Kx or better anyway.

Got a major math test tomorrow and then it's christmas break!

It'sa shame my family and I aren't celebrating christmas this year though.

Nonetheless, I made my decision regarding my last few posts. I've decided that it's in my best interest to work for the break and then after the break continue on my poker endeavor.

I'm like 15k hands from 100k hand goal so it'll probably take me another 2 days to finish, but it depends on how much I play of course. Then after that it's 5nl!

I'm considering on getting silver status and watching wezels videos on 6 max. I know it'll help me become better and his population video really helped me gain a lot of knowledge on common lines.

Oh yeah, another thing that has been happening to me lately me is I zone out every now and then. It's literally just for like 2-3 seconds and then I come back. It's weird really and sometimes I forget the action like who raised, and such. It's weird, it just started happening recently too ?(?(?(?(

Ah well, I'm going to put in another 2k hands and call it a day from here.

Awesome dude that you are getting close to moving up. I know you'll do well if you keep up the effort you have been.

As for the zoning out - how have you been sleeping, eating, and maintaining activity levels lately?
I'm thinking with all the studying for tests you've been doing before the holiday break that your brain just needs a rest for a bit?

I think it was all the studying and me not eating anything in-between sessions. Now that I eat something before each session, I haven't zoned out yet. Then again it's a small sample size so I can't conclude anything Maybe I'm losing my mind?:f_ugly::f_ugly:

well i hope you've figured out the "black out" situation. pretty scary especially when at times we all get zoned out when playing online you tend to forget to eat or even hydrate yourself. Just make sure before you sit down get some grub into you, and by that i mean something on the healthy choices. chicken is one of my favourites and can always pick up those cut up pieces of chicken throw it into a wrap with some lettuce and cheese and viola. a healthy pick me upper.

As for the hand, 3 way always scary especially on a wet board like that, but I don't see myself folding your hand on the flop as i'm sure your thinking the same. but both call any ideas what you may have had them on? The turn is a good card but I often wonder in this situation am i being trapped in a flush? still you lead out and they call yet again, no raises especially by SB?? interesting... prob thinking flush or straight and can't bring to fold those beauts!

the river being a dud, and by now i'm sure your thinking he/they have hit something 2 pairs, maybe a trips? so by now your thinking they've called all streets I'd probably pop in that shove like you and both holding sets which is awesome, call and your sitting on cloud 9!

It's been a long grind and I'm happy that I finally finished a goal I set out for myself.
2nl has been a great learning experience and I know there's so much room to improve my game. I look forward to the next stake!

When they both called, I thought I was trapped by a flush TBH. I was expecting some J-x hand too for a split, but some things fell into place for that hand and I ended up winning a nice pot.

Congratulations on reaching 100K hands. Quite the accomplishment in it's own right, and secondly beating NL2. Moving on up to NL5 I think you'll do quite fine!

I want to 4 table zoom. Right now I'm 2 tabling.

One thing I noticed about 5nl is people 3bet more against BTN open raises.

I don't really know how to deal with that and playing OOP with AK as the preflop raises on a board like 7-T-3 rainbow.

Right now I'm playing 20/17. Folding most spec hands in EP and not opening as wide as I did on BTN.

I beleive once I get situated in 5nl and I become more self-assured of my ability in 5nl will I open my range a little bit more.

if you get a chance and get a silver status should watch w3azels (sp?) videos on zoom. It's a little bit more aggressive then I would have thought but at times it seems pretty legit. I just have to learn to read more textured boards.

I have to start at NL4 (.02-.04) which is basically NL5 if you ask me and I've noticed the same as you've pointed out they either 3bet min or large against BTN Open raises.

I've been using Blackrains HUD when playing one stat that allows me to take advantage of their 3Bets are their Folds to 3bets. Hands you may normally B/F if Reraised if they have a high F-3bets I'll toss one in every now and then with a relative hand suited connects, broadways, pairs etc. Even BTN steals with 92o such like hands especially if they have a high F-Flop Cbet you're likely to take it down.

Mind you, again my stats for this game are pretty damaging which again, its just me learning to read a board when I do get into a situation. I get into these modes where everyone i'm playing is as big of a Donk as me!! LOL

I think after moving up to NL5 you should treat yourself to one hours micro training from w34z3l at $35. Special one off micro rate.

I did and he set me straight on many things and sent me a recording of the session. Bargain. I'll 99.9% be using him again

Sick graph and results man - Really respect your approach to the cash games. Are you planning a minimum number of games at NL5 before considering a move up as well (if you go on to crush it like you did NL2)?

Sounds like you are already aware of some changes you will try for the new limit and I'm positive you will make the right adjustments after you get some games under your belt.

I'm planning on staying at 5nl for awhile TBH. I want to strengthen my poker core and be in the 90th percentile rather than be in the middle of the pack.

Furthermore, I am looking to make my move to FTP in the future to take advantage of the depositors' bonus of $600. That means I need to deposit $600.00 so I have a long way to go before I reach these goals.
