@RasTweet

I changed my game so much because I was just getting 3bet by villains an insane amount and wasnt sure how to deal with it. i cant get away with a 70% button open anymore :(

so it must be said i have to work a lot on my game to actually crush the limit :f_cool:

updates:

little to no poker being played this month so far due to school and birthday weekend with too much drinking.....

still not doing too badly $ wise though, and am looking forward to putting in some higher volume this week :]

have had a really rough last 25k hands unfortunately :(

experiencing a lot of terrible boards for my hands vs. fishes ranges/hands. sets getting run over constantly. not too much fun.

battled through though and am still up around 7bi through these hands (which is pretty poor :f_cry:)

additionally, having lots of trouble with a good reg in my games.

villain 3bets and 4bets with solid frequencies (in my mind) and puts maximum pressure on me/other players. not sure how to deal with said player.

stats are:
1.8k hands
VPIP: 42 PFR 33 AF: 2.2 3Bet: 13.7 Fto3bet: 55 (53 hands)

Cbet flop and turn: 50% and 54%

3bets vs hero:

vs EP 8% (24 hands)
vs mp 4% (23 hands)
vs co 13% (24 hands)
vs btn 31% (75 hands)
vs sb 29% (17 hands)

4bets 23% vs hero (22 hands)
5bets 60% (5 hands)

have seen villain 5bet shove 76s and K8s bvb, as well as cold 4bet 53s.

not sure exactly how to go about playing vs this opponent, i have tried calling 3bets ip, but then my range is capped and i get barreled off lots of hands.

help :f_love:

DID IT :f_drink:

$200 --> $2000

Dec 9 - Dec 30

Still have lots to improve on though. Need to work on math, theory and my range (bluff/value combos on each street).

Looking forward to the new year :)

was able to kill that crazy 3bet/4bet reg in my games today!!!

had a great start to my session, up 4.5 BI in 800 hands. unfortunately i proceeded to brick every flop/turn in 3bet pots and ended the session only up 2.5 BI :f_rolleyes:

here is a spot i have trouble with. about 50 hands on villain, nothing special. folded to 3bet 5/5 times.

$0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, FAST, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $67.70 (135.4 bb)
BB: $38.85 (77.7 bb)
UTG: $54.55 (109.1 bb)
MP: $19.30 (38.6 bb)
Hero (CO): $77.25 (154.5 bb)
BTN: $17.30 (34.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K Q
UTG raises to $1.50, MP folds, Hero raises to $4.50, 3 folds, UTG calls $3

Flop: ($9.75) 6 J 2 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $5.50, UTG calls $5.50

Turn: ($20.75) K (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero.....

not too sure about this spot vs unknown regish player. do we go for...
1. bet/bet/bet
2. bet/bet/xb
3. bet/xb/bet

i think its hard to bet 3 streets and get called by worse. however, we would bluff this turn normally so i guess i should be betting here. still unsure and maybe a bit too nitty :f_mad:
