First day of the Year that I played.
Had a decent run. I planned to play more today, but had to cancel my evening grind.

Thanks for the offer, but I can not make a commitment for a period of time about which I do not know how it will evolve.

Thanks and Happy new year.

Last 3 days. I made a daily schedule that I will try to respect for a period of time to see if it helps me or not. Have studied more about 3B ranges recently, but seems like I'm not very attentive and I tighten up my overall ranges preflop and now I'm playing 19/16 w/ 3B 6. Have to be more attentive preflop.

Here is the graph:

That's right. I want to play at least 30k hands/month. I will try to play more than that, but this I want to be the minimum.

What do you think about his play on the turn ? Can he ever get a worst hand to call there or a better hand to fold ?

It doesn't matter. On the flop, his stack to pot ratio is 1.57. With such a low SPR, he will go all-in no matter what, or his play will be massively -EV on the long term.

I am not a 6-max player, but I think you had KK. In this case, the hand played by itself.

Also his flop CB is way to big for a 4B pot. He is betting 67% pot size bet.
With KK I will go AI preflop.

New day, new chart for you guys.

Getting ready to take a shot at NL10, much faster than I anticipated.

Have something to ask those of you who play more than 2 consecutive sessions. How do you manage to play more than that ?
I play 1 hour, then I take a break of 10-15 minutes and then play again 1 hour. But I get tired after that and I stop playing because I'm afraid I will do stupid things at the tables.
So how do you manage ?

Folding KK is -ev by default in 6max from any opponent, from any position ( U have invested money already and sometimes u gonna fold best hand.)

@Zanardi1 Yeah, I almost never fold KK preflop.
@martinstids, Tomaloc Wellcome to my blog.
Still think his CB is way to big for a 4B pot. I have KQ, AK, TT on the turn as calling range. At the moment I remember his 3B was much bigger, like +10 but on few hands and maybe I was confused about how much wider his 3B and 4B range is. Probably he has a lot of value is his 3B and 4B range here because the preflop raiser is a fish.

The chart from today.

I gave NL10 a shot today. I played resonable but made a mistake with a bluff and lost 50BB and then I got JJ into KK SB vs BTN vs a LAG-ish player.
Return to NL5 and all the boards crushed me until the river.

Changed my plan about moving up in limits.
Here is the plan I will follow this year (hopefully I will reach NL50 until the end of the year):

1. Play NL2 until I have 150$. (30BI for NL5). Move up to NL5 for 10BI. Drop down to NL2 when I have 100$ (20BI for NL5).
2. Play NL5 until I have 350$. (35BI for NL10). Move up to NL10 for 10BI. Drop down to NL5 when I have 250$ (25BI for NL10).
3. Play NL10 until I have 560$. (35BI for NL16). Move up to NL16 for 10BI. Drop down to NL10 when I have 400$ (25BI for NL16).
4. Play NL16 until I have 1000$. (40BI for NL25). Move up to NL25 for 10BI. Drop down to NL16 when I have 750$ (30BI for NL25).
5. Play NL25 until I have 2250$. (45BI for NL50). Move up to NL50 for 10BI. Drop down to NL25 when I have 1750$ (35BI for NL50).

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $7.20 (144 bb)
BB: $5.48 (109.6 bb)
UTG: $5.36 (107.2 bb)
MP: $5 (100 bb)
CO: $4.05 (81 bb)
Hero (BTN): $5 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A K
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, SB folds, BB raises to $0.38, Hero calls $0.26

Standard open, get a 3B from a 7/5 nit in 88 hands. As a standard play I would 4B and get it in, but versul such a player I think I should play it safe and just call.

Flop: ($0.78) K 2 J (2 players)
BB bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40

He bets 1/2 PSB and I call again. He could have AA, KK, JJ and I don't want to get the money in now.

Turn: ($1.58) 5 (2 players)
BB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

Then bombs the pot. Why he would here bet so large and the flop only half a pot ? I thought that he could just hit the flush, or could have AsQx, or AsJx, but he is very tight preflop. It doesn't make sense his bet sizing on the turn.
Decided to call him down when the river is non spade.

River: ($4.58) J (2 players)
BB bets $3.20 and is all-in, Hero calls $2.72 and is all-in

Call it down on that J.

How would you play the hand given the bet sizing and the information mentions by me ?
