Is anyone watching U20 Ice hockey world championship that is currently taking place in Canada, Montreal & Toronto?

Every team has already played two games. Canada is leading group A with 6 points and Usa has 5 points. Our Finland lost after shootouts to Usa and we also lost against Slovakia 1-2 so Finland has only 1 point so far. And if you didn`t know, Finland is defending champion. :f_cool:
In Group B Sweden has 6 points and Russia 5 points.

Group A:
Canada
Usa
Finland
Germany
Slovakia

Group B:
Sweden
Russia
Czech Republic
Switzerland
Denmark

So let us know who you are cheering for and you can discuss about the games in this thread.

Sweden-Finland is going to be interesting. Sweden is the better team but the outcome of a match between theese two is never given.

Cold fact is that our coaching this year was way worst than last year. And that is a big reason why we had 21 powerplay in the tournament but we could not make a single powerplay goal.

So it will be Canada - Russia in the final and Slovakia - Sweden in bronze game. Canada has been pretty overwhelming so far and they know how to play in the small rink so I would say Canada win the championship. And I hope all you Swedish members don`t mind but I hope Slovakia would suprise everyone and win bronze medals. :sfishg:

Canada - Russia is a classic match-up and should be a great game, but I was really hoping we would face off vs Sweden.
