Not sure if that hand plays for itself.

The call it basicly made caused by his sizing on Flop, Turn and River (Pot on Flop...then he slows down). Felt like a station :f_frown:

Hi,

river call seems terrible here, even though the sizings are suspicious; BTN is closing the action here, so the only bluffs he could have here are AKJx type hands with a FD and no sdv. Sure sometimes you win here, but that's extremly rare, especially since 9xxx basically makes a straight here, and with 3 players it's just bound for someone to have a straight here, and the straight is not folding to this betsize.

Regards,

Skod

Yeah. In play I though: GREAT, when he showed just QQT2.

In review I was really concerned how often that call could be ever good. His tendencies are really crappy. But with just 5 hands?

Just though he has not J9 when he didn´t protect the turn with a potsizebet. But are there really so many str8s with a 9 in his hand OTR when he stays playing like 90/60. He could even have K999 in his range OTR I think...but that hes maybe bombing. I´m still not sure. Just wrote a note...

Yeah it makes no sense for him to bet QQ on this river. I guess he's just a very bad player here, the likes you won't often see. 99,9% of players will snap check QQ otr.

Only reason i can think of why he bet the river is that he just simply doesn't know/understand the rules. He probably was thinking that because he have QQTx and there is QT at the table, he must having a full house. ?(
When you are first times in Omaha table, things can get really confusing when you try to form yout hand.. :)

Bad players bet sets here. I think the important thing is his turn betsize. What I have found out is that recreational players use half a pot betsizing often with hands that they think are strong but not the nuts. Sort of "I don't know what to do so I bet half a pot". Without any notes on his betsizing I would read that half a pot as "I don't have J9 here" bet. Of course it could be 97xx often too.

His riverbet is beyond horrible, I hope you made notes on him :)
