I don't expect to do a HUGE amount of reviewing over the next couple of weeks as my sole goal is to play 400 games but I was awake bright and early this morning and with the tables too quite at this time of the day I decided to run over last nights games.

It is very important when mass multi-tabling (12 is alot for me but I was still comfortable) that I am not making any BIG mistakes or playing too tightly and folding my stack down to 0. I did notice during my session that in quite a few games may stack got really low (4-8BB).

Thankfully, on review this was due to being card-dead than missing spots. My gut feeling was right also, out of the 12 games I made few mistakes and was just on the wrong side of variance.

This is one example for instance:

Spoiler

Poker Stars No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 300/600 Blinds (9 handed) - Poker Stars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com/

Turn: (t12,990) 6 (2 players)

River: (t12,990) 2 (2 players)

Total pot: t12,990

Results below:
Button had K, K (two pair, Kings and twos).
Hero had 7, A (one pair, twos).
Outcome: Button won t13,440

I did not make a cash last night but this is kinda standard and I will have to get used to that. However, it's a long road ahead and hopefully I'm at the final table more often than not!

Hall of Shame Hand:

This is just terrible and far from optimal and by a long way my worst hand from last nights session

Hall of Fame Hand:

Spoiler

I agonized with this hand a little in session and I eventually made the call. Despite losing the hand it turns out that it was the correct decision.

Back to the real life daily grind though for now.

Session 2 of 2015 and the family better get used to eating fresh air at this rate!

Ah now, pretty dire luck again in key spots. Built up some nice stacks early on but nothing materialized except for one itty bitty min cash. Had a bubble as well which was quite annoying but I had to shove my last 3BB with A5s.

Figured out that I can tile more than 12 tables on the laptop so I was playing 14 tables at once tonight

29 games so far and won't be playing tomorrow. Hoping for 50 though on Sunday to keep me up-to-speed. Also hoping for a little more fortune also!

Reviewed all games from 2015 so far and raring to go for a big day tomorrow. I'm hoping to play a minimum of 50 games tomorrow which I will do or at least plan to do over 3 sessions.

Time for some wine and time with the Mrs!

Well the year is barely 4 days old and we've already been thrown our first game changer and it's quite a big one!

More news on that later as I would like to wait until everything is clear and finalized.

Today, I had hoped for 3 sessions and 50 games. I probably won't go full force as planned now.

I didn't win the lottery figuratively but I've definitely potentially struck gold in the last few hours that will slightly alter my plans for this year or at the very least enhance them a lot.

More details later though, I promise.

As I've said in my earlier post though, I'm going to take a more relaxed approach to today than I had previously planned.

So played my absolute best poker of the year so far. So clear and concise from the opening hand to the end.

I ended up playing 9 tables tiled all the way through. Will review them in the morning for sure, played 28 games in total. Once again, I was on the wrong side of the profit line but I know that I'm more than good enough to beat this limit. I'm not gonna moan about specific beats because it's pointless. Mindset wise, today has been a breakthrough day for me.

Still can't say anything new about the morning news though, just yet.

Unclear if I will go back to the tables again today. I possibly will. Feeling great about my game today.

OK, so it's time for that game changer that I spoke about earlier and that you've all been so patiently awaiting.

Before Christmas when I was having bankroll runbadaments I posted a thread on a website X seeking a coaching and backing deal for MTSNG and MTTs. I did this without holding much hope as let's face it I don't have the time for grindaments like most of the poker population. Over the Christmas period, I was contacted by Mister X on Skype and with the holiday period and time difference we missed each other until this morning.

After a brief conversation in the early hours today, he offered me a trial period deal to play $2.50 and $8 MTSNGs and I have happily accepted it. We also had a short coaching session that just concluded and we are both very happy with how that went. As I said the trail period is for a few weeks and hopefully we will extend that and also include MTTs at some point in the near future.

So, my plans will be altered once I've had time to digest this news and work out a new schedule and goals. I no longer will be going full force for the 400 games as previously stated. I am going to work hard on my game with my coach and hopefully move on from there.

My backer, for all intents and purposes would like to remain anonymous at this point.

----

On the tables today I had quite a few cashes, and had my first FT of the year. Unfortunately, I finished 4th and finished a majority of the others on the 2nd and 3rd FTs. I'm running bad in key spots. Hopefully in the near future this will turn and I can start printing $$$

Good night folks!
