Yesterday the aces came easy to me... Just after I hit 100 hands... Flatted a raise in SB vs CO and flopped a boat haha. :f_love:

Liiiitle behind on volume still, but I am keeping up pretty good! 42,781/80,000 = 53,5%

I have to find some time inbetween sessions this week to find time to bake some cookies... well alot of cookies actually. And swedish cinnamon rolls. :f_biggrin: Decided that'll be the christmas present for my boyfriends parents + grandmom... Just a shame I won't get to eat a single one of them, not sure I will get through baking all of it and not even trying a single one... But, I am enjoying a ketogenic lifestyle for a long time now and I'll just simply have to remind myself how much better I feel every day and it'll be okay :f_thumbsup:

Last day to chase the aces... So far I had aces 4/6 days this week. Going to make it 5/7 :f_biggrin:

I also think I have to change my daily goals/monthly volume goals. I have been spending tons of time doing off table work this month, just not neccessarily reviewing hands every day. I DO believe that off table work is just as important as actually spending time on the tables, so I'm gonna have to figure something out.

In regards to volume, I had to sacrifice a bit of playing time last few days for christmas preparations, so I'm falling behind a bit on pace.

47,932/80,000 = 59,9%

Gonna play some today and see if I'll get to writing a weekly report tonight and if not tomorrow. Happy sunday grind! :f_drink:

I have in fact already prepared for Christmas, which is code for spent all the money and broke yet again. Sigh.

I to really need to get some work done off table ready for next year. New year, new player, new winning strategy, that sort of stuff. Ye well, we'll see! :f_thumbsup:

Oh, that aces thing is murder, limp/reraisers all over the place. I love folding preflop, you just know you ruined their day! _evil:

To answer your question I played over 8K that day and got nothing. Same yesterday. I think you got them all - 4/6 indeed!

Happy sunday to you to.

Do you really mean 8000 hands? :O or 800? Because it just CANT be you played 16k hands and dint get it once... you do know, if you have a 4 color deck, the aces are in fact not red, right? :f_rolleyes:

I just spent another 2 hours doing off table work. Damn, Robert Kiyosaki is such an brilliant man. I am done with the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and I thought I'd might post some of my favourite notes/quotes here I made whilst getting through the book.

"I don't work for money. Money works for me."

"Study hard, but learn how money works so you can make the money work for YOU."

"Most people want to feel secure. Passion does not guide them, fear does".

"Fear if being without money motivates us to work hard. Then once we get that paycheck, greed or desire sets us off thinking about all the wonderful things money can buy".

"When one makes more money, one usually also increase the cyckle by also increasing ones spendings".

"Learn to use your emotions to think, not think with your emotions".

"Assets and liabilities; assets is something that puts money in your pocket. A liability is something that takes money out of it".

"If you want to be rich, spend your life buying assets. If you want to be poor, spend your life buying liabilitys."

"Once you put a dollar into your asset column, never let it come out. The best thing about money is; it can work 24 hours a day. Once the money goes into the assets column, it becomes your employee. Keep your daytime job, keep being a hard worker BUT: keep building that asset column."

Cooler of the day hahahah :f_biggrin:

Finally picked up my red aces in the BB, first thought PLEASE dont walk me again :deadhappy:

Thankfully utg opened. So I called. And flopped a set. Board AKx rainbow. So i c/r and get called. Turn I bet and get raised, but since it was a T I was like omfg you have QJ dont you :spit: But yeh, obv cant fold and he had KK  To make it sting even worse, I rivered quads.

Running bad is so much more fun when funny hands happen inbetween. Backdoor royal ftw <3 :f_biggrin:

I open A♠: T♣: in MP and get called by a 15/11/3 nit from the blinds.

Flop comes A♣: 7♣: Q♣:

I bet and he calls

Turn comes J♣: he checks, i check back

River comes K♣: and he bets  sick bluff by the nit, obv probably would have worked had I not had the Tc in my hand :profit:

Hero writes in chat: "nice bluff" and clicks it back.

Sadly he still folded, but oh well

So I got some pretty awesome presents this christmas. Among the favourites is the beauty below, not really a chair but more of a throne :f_love: My boyfriend says the holes are for like airflow or whatever but I still disagree strongly and keep to my claim that they're for the backmassages he'll be giving me while im grinding  I also got a steelseries gaming mousepad and daaaaamn its so smooth and nice! I am definitely ready for the grind 2015 :f_love:

Did anyone else get any nice presents for xmas? :)

That chair looks lovely! I also got given a steelseries gaming mousepad but my gf seems pretty insistent on changing it so we are waiting for the shop to get some more razer mousepads in stock and exchange it for one of those!

But why? :f_o: mine is so amazing, wouldnt trade it. Do you not like it?? I mean I do love razer too, I had a razer deathadder mouse that was just amazing, I am planning to get one next year again, since my last one wore out and double clicked at the most untimely manners haha. The mouse I have atm is OKAY but its nowhere near a deathadder :f_love:

Also, Happy new years to all of you :f_love: Hope you had a great time celebrating with family/friends/enemys/whoever!

I had a great night, starting it off with "raclette" & oil fondue. Raclette is awesome, everyone has this little pan in which you put whatever you want, there's tons of different meats and vegetables and then you top it off with a slice of cheese and put it inside this mini-oven thing... So delicious! Also never tried the oil fondue before, which was quite nice with the beef... Esp medium rare :f_love:

After that had a few drinks, watched the fireworks, went clubbing and had just a truly amazing night with lots of dancing and laughter and happyness. Could not have had a better end to last year/start to this year, that fwiw is going to be an amazing year. :f_love: Will finalize some goals etc and write a post later.

xoxo

The razer mousepad is green and black! hahaha, its all about the colours :f_love: Shop gets the new one in tomorrow so I will be able to find out what its like _cool: I agree on Razer mice being cool too, but I'm somehow really used to using a good old wired Microsoft optical mice, no wireless shenanigans for me!

I love Raclette, its amazing! Meat fondue is amazing as well, haven't had one in years now! Happy New Year!
