If you want to know what he had, at least give me a little bit of coaching. I have a guy helping me improve my play by analyzing my hands and he said it's an obvious call. I haven't been in a spot like this one before and I was trying to work out whether hands like a middle pair is more likely for him to shove the river, or whether a K is more likely given so many people saw the flop.

Absolutely.
There is 1 card in the deck that beats you.
If he has it, well, he has it, and that's poker.

But the chances of him having it are so remote you can't fold.
If you fold when there is a 1/42 chance you are behind, then you'll be folding the winning hand 41 out of 42 times you face those odds.

note: I may have the math all wrong, but you get the idea...
