I'm good, currently hitting the reset button and trying to grind a roll up from NL25. Actually probably exactly what you did in 2014, do you have a blueprint or coach? ;)

Hey

Why did you choose to cbet 65cc here? It seems the nut hand to check back. How high is your cbet? I see the guys coming through from 200/100 having a really high cbet thats really hard to make profitable.

Congrats on last year and the MTT bink!

Hey Hey Hey!

Thanks for stopping by :))
my cbet is actually on the lower side ~55ish
cbetting mid pair, because it makes it easier to play, he folds out quiet bit of equity share, i avoid guessing after he leads on overacards on later streets + there are some nice barreling runouts for this hand :)
Not sure if thats correct, but I think I prefer it to checking

I'm not sure we want to be barreling this hand very often as a bluff really. I think the "good barreling cards" are actually more "good calling cards" We don't have to be worried about being bluffed on multiple streets, villain should check turns that improve our range such as Q/K/A so the only difficult decision we will have is on the river and the cards that he may bet that he think favours his range due to our check back will be cards that actually give us additional equity. I could make a case for betting 65 with no bdfd but I think with the bdfd we should check it close to 100% of the time.

gl at the tables, I'll keep following the blog and try and be constructive (my post wasnt troling I hope you know?:))

Hmm, interesting point..

Thanks for the input! Of course I am really glad to get new ideas how to improve. My plays are far from perfect obviously - still grinding mostly just nl100 :f_rolleyes:

Thanks! Gl to you too!
