Hey guys, I just made this post on facebook for some girls that were complaining about not being able to watch some show. I was trying to decide if I wanted to post it in my blog or not, because I have been trying to make posts on self-improvement and I don't really want to make someone waste their time on tv, so make sure you don't do that and set aside only short periods of personal time in your schedule to watch tv.
I also learned that the VPN is not neccessary if you are in USA, but is if you are outside the U.S. Just contact the VPN site with what you want and your location and they can recommend something for you as i'm not an expert at this. And remember the whole point of this is to get rid of your tv bill or reduce it if you are having to pay for bunch of crap, don't waste too much time though. The TV stick cost me ~$50, VPN is like ~$10 a month and might be cheaper if you buy like 6 months or 1 year in advance. The live tv is not that great on this apparently but if you want to stream any show or movie, it's quite good and you can get it in HD.
Wrote out a how to for those of you complaining you couldn't watch SOA.
How to get Kodi on your TV or computer
you will need to purchase or already have:
-computer and/or android tv stick *make sure your TV has an hdmi port but it should*
here is one I just purchased. My research suggests that android tv sticks are better than apple tv.

-kodi
kodi.tv
-VPN (optional for extra security)

I have spent a lot of time researching VPN's for personal, job use and I have recently switched to IAPS from another VPN.
IAPS is by far the best I have come across in terms of speed and support.
-Wireless mouse/keyboard
plug the usb dongle into the android tv stick to control it.
How to set up for Android:
-connect your HDMI android TV stick to your tv. (will be used as monitor)
-connect to your internet
-connect to vpn using your sn and pw purchased from IAPS VPN
-go to settings enable Unknown Sources, otherwise you won't be able to download anything but from Google Store.
-go to google and type in kodi.tv > downloads > android > x86 for android 4.0 or later.
For your computer:
-connect to the VPN following the insturctions that came in the email with your purchase.
-go to kodi.tv >downloads> choose your operating system and download.
How to set up Kodi
Kodi comes stripped with nothing on it, it's the add ons that make it powerful.
Most popular add ons: fusion, super repo, phoenix.
Popular repos: blaze, eldorado.
Genesis and 1channel have pretty much every movie and show you want.
How to get fusion:
You can install all of them through the add on wizard or go through adding the ones you want one by one.
there is a way to download all of the add ons, but you may not want to do that as it will take up a lot of resources especially
on android stick, so just pick the ones you like.
Controlling Kodi:
wireless keyboard or mouse.
phone, in kodi go to system settings and enable kodi to be accessed through port 80 or port 8080
search for xbmc remote in your apps, download connect etc.
Enjoy and remember google is your friend.
