We get a lot of calls by betting turn again i.e all the draws and Qx/Jx hands. Small pairs can check back turn there. I'm not that psyched about playing this draw oop here.

Hi legand,

Why are you shutting down on the turn? Why can we not barrel here and put pressure on his range?

Do you stand many chances of winning this pot once you check turn and even call a small bet? Outside of hitting?

No not really. I was just looking at all the hands he can call w/, like all the hearts/ Jx/Qx and some other pairs that might call again, but then when looking at the the fact that we have a good draw and aren't going to be winning the hand often by x/calling small then betting looks so much better.

Betting is superior to ck/calling in a spot where his range still has hands that can't withstand a lot of pressure.

When you check/call you pretty much tell him that you win only if you hit (in 90%+ of the cases).
