Hi guys,

With TCOOP coming up in just a few days I thought it was perfect timing to run a special live coaching series on Turbo play. This kicks off Tuesday 20th at 9pm CET with part 2 of 2 running the following Tuesday 27th at 6.30pm CET (finishing up just before a $215 TCOOP runs!).

As with my previous live coaching I'll be running a presentation breaking down key concepts, of course we'll also be looking a lot at push/fold and running some calculations. I'll show you how to figure out push/fold maths a number of different ways, including a look at manual calculations, how to refer to charts and using software such as HRC to look at detailed spots. We'll also be talking about the range of other plays open to you above and beyond push/fold.

I'd love to tackle some of your own hands as part of the session, please feel free to post those here or via PM. Anyone who'd like to volunteer more than a single hand, feel free to PM me or add me on Skype, and we can arrange for you to send me a full HH for review - anything turbo is fine, the deeper run the better!

Please note if you'd like me to use HRC to consider some of the details of a hand you post, if you could post the converted HH but ALSO the plain text version as well, that would be helpful :)

Anything you'd like me to tackle in particular in the sessions, just let me know in this thread. Looking forward to seeing you all there, and best of luck in TCOOP this season!

Hi I didn't have the chance to watch your vid (I will do it!)so may be you already talked about it or you will do it in the second part.
How do you approach raise/fold; raise/call vs shove when let's say 12-20bb deep? do you split your range, and what do you consider when you take the R/F R/C line vs Shove line?
how we can calculate the EV of each line to compare them in HRC?

Hi Hakka!

Good questions, I tackled some of this in my first half yes. There will be some further discussion in the next one, on Tues 27th. In general how I divide the r/f, r/c, open shove ranges will totally depend on the villain, but vs. likely bad unknowns I am just r/f some of my mid-strength value hands, esp. with blockers such as KTo. Then r/c a strong range to induce, r/f some stuff that is not strong enough to shove. vs. presumed decent unknowns I'd still prefer to shove my Kx and QJ etc and r/c 77+ ATo+ A8s+ type spots, shoving weak aces etc. It really depends a lot on exact stacks, reads, dynamic. Will def be happy to look at this in a lot more depth in class. Please fire away with any more questions here and in class as well :) also we can def calc all of these in HRC, I'll find some spots to compare for class. Please post hands here too :)
