Hey. I am creating this blog to help me stay focused and motivated.

I am starting at the lowest level. 50 cent 180 mans turbo. And will move up whenever my bankroll allow me too.
I will update before every session.

Starting roll and graph.

Good luck me. I will update with info about me later.

How you planned to move up stakes?

Gl! :)

When I get to 400 dollars I will switch to 2.5 dollar 180 mans. And move down again if I lose 75 buyins. Thats my plan. But before I hit 400 dollars I think I have to mix in 0.50 and 1 dollar 90 mans, to get +10 tables running.

Day 1 Update

Did not have a lot of time to play in the primetime, and could not get enough volume in so I mixed in 90 mans 50 cent and 1 dollar.

SNG Hold'em NL Turbo : Blinds level increase faster than normal. $0.45+$0.05 180 Players Count:32 -$7.19
SNG Hold'em NL Turbo : Blinds level increase faster than normal. $0.45+$0.05 90 Players Count:10 $0.67
SNG Hold'em NL Turbo : Blinds level increase faster than normal. $0.91+$0.09 90 Players Count:6 -$6

Think I need to call more tight, as people shove alot tigher than nash. In a spot where they should shove 60% most only shove 15-20% hence calling with 45% is not good.
Trying to find out how to crush these 50 cents again, because obv people shove way to tight on these limits. Think I will go with a lot tighter calling range in general. Because I always find myself dominated in all spots. I have watched alot of videos of Nash, but think I might not adjust to good to peoples shoving ranges.

Will look over some HH today and tommorrow before I play to adjust my play a little. I know this could just be variance, but atleast I will find out.
I

Anyway Bankroll is now $116.07.

Hey daalle92,

Another thing to consider is your open pushing range. If they are calling tighter than Nash, then you need to shove a little looser. You will make more than enough from their incorrect folds.

Cheers

Laz

Is mixing games imperative? Personally, I think it makes the grind more difficult as there is ICM differences between 45s and 180s. If it were possible I'd stick to one game.

Also - don't multi-table for volume sake. Dropping a table or two can often increase your profit :)

This and a decent min-raise/fold range as well can net us a lot of $$$

As promised I will make an update.

I think for this challenge it will be better to make a weekly update, with alot of stats included. I Will do this every Sunday.
Also Yesterday I just got news that I will be getting a full time job working nightshifts. This will give net me around 5500 dollars per month.
Work hours are as follows. 23.00-07.00 Monday to friday. This means I go on weekend friday morning at 07.00 until Sunday evening at 23.00.

My poker schedule for this challenge will be as close to this a possible.
Monday - no poker
Tuesday - 3-4 hour grind
Wednesday - 1-2 Hours study + 1-2 hours poker probably just regging for 30 minutes and play out the Sng's Will be around 8-10 games total.
Thursday - HH review with a buddy or selfstudy no playing
Friday - 6-10 hours poker.
Saturday - 1 hour study prior to session 6-10 hours poker.
Sunday - No poker - Maybe I will play if I dont have family to visit. Or any other thing I need to attend.

I Hope to crack down 22-25 hours of poker every week + 3-6 hours of intense study.
Btw been running really bad this week post ante but good pre ante. Dammit. Would rather run good when antes kick in.

Pre ante - 6041 hands bb/100=22.92 EVbb/100=14.55
Antes - 3229 hands bb/100= -4.70 EVbb/100=10.54

How is that for running bad with antes. Overall this year im running about 4 bb/100 under Ev post ante.

Well Tommorrow I will make a bigger updates with some graphs an stuff. Here is a picture.

Btw sorry if I made any grammer or spelling mistakes, english is not my native language.

Week 1 update

This I played a total of 10254 hands in exactly 200 tournaments.

177: 90+180 mans sngs Average buyin 0.52 dollars total profit 27.84 dollars.
23: MTT average buyin 1.53 dollars total profit -12.75 dollars.

I have had a really bad february so far being down 80 buyins in the 180 mans 50 cents. However im up around 47 dollars total for this month.

Now for this challenge and moving forward.
I will stop playing MTTs.

180 man breakdown

50 cent buyin - Total games 118 - Profit -$36.14
2.5 dollar buyin - Total games 5 - Profit $72.24

I have run pretty bad this week again. When sorted for Bigblind above 600 I have an EV bb/100 at 1,26 but my real bb/100 won is -10,48 losing a lot of flips on the final table.

In the 2.5 dollar sng I finished second in I was headsup with half of my opponents stack, I went all in with A2 and he shoved KJo. I unfortunatly lost that flip. Could have given me the victory in this tourney.

I feel like im doing the right things, I just have to keep moving forward and study my game and improve. Anyway graph so far for this challenge.

I will stop playing anything else than 180 mans.

Bankroll is now 156 dollars. I will play 90% of my games on the 50 cent buying level and the rest 10% with the 2.5 buyin.

Had a small session today - Bankroll is now at 170 dollars. :f_biggrin:

Hopefully I will hit 200 this week. Though 300 dollars would be amazing. But pretty unlikely.

Anyway heading to work now. Good luck on the tables.

Thanks, yes in the beginning i use a more Agressive BRM, but for 8 dollars and up i Will use 200-300 buyins as minimum, i Will probably tale shots at the 8 dollar lever when i hit 800-1000 BR bit only 10% of my games. So basically if i have more than 300 buyins on my current buyin range i tale shots !! :)
