good flop to donk from bb vs early pos raise 14bb effective pre?

Pre-flop I’m pushing or folding against a 14bb stack. Without reads on the player I’m pushing with KQs, because you have still some fold equity and even if you get a call of him you have a decent amount of equity against his calling range.

As played I’m checking the flop and evaluate on his action. I don’t think he folds to often on a donk lead and you have only 3 clean outs to hit your straight. Now you need to fold on his min raise. He had most likely a strong hand here.

cheers sd, I was considering a shove pre, but if I recall rightly his stats were nitty! The reason I chose to donk is because, given his tenancies (nit) & awkward stack size, I felt he can fold out many better hands than mine 77-10-10, also AK, AQ. As you mentioned K&Q rnt really 6 clean outs as AK & Q are easily within in his range and I rnt going to be doing somersaults over the K&Q of diamonds, as played I think your right checking flop is prob best. Although I'm sure a shove would have been better, especially as race wouldn't have crippled me. Interesting spot,

I think I like your donk vs a nit. However it is not something I use too often in my game, so I am not completely sure. Would be nice if the gods of PS started to make some MTT videos on unorthodox post flop plays.

i would prefer much better to ch/jam this hand than bet fold. if you bet its hard time to fold, i would jam or at least call
