SH Zoom 99 Cbet the Flop?

I think betting is almost always better than check/calling.

If I´m CO and you check that flop pretty sure I will bet flop and turn against you with a wide range.

Cbet that flop with 99. You are OOP and he might bet anything against you. Bet first, take initiative.

Probably depends how villain plays. You could consider checking, hoping he checks down A high or a lower PP.

It's a really good hand to post though, because that spot is fairly common and probably takes a relatively big part of the winrate. That's where a proper Hand Judge would be great.

Standard play is to cbet flop there, half pot or a little bit bigger. If you have cbet stats it is much easier to make a gameplan.

and make him fold what? no better hand will fold to one bet so we need to barrel. now we barrel multiple streets turning 99 into a bluff? we have better hands in our range to do this with. it is simply just not a great hand in general and our options are not great. bet flop-give up turn sucks with our equity. x/c multiple streets sucks vs a range that fires 3. firing 3 streets with 2 outs sucks as well.

i'm not disagreeing with betting flop, but my thought process is that we have better hands to bluff here. i think i would check/call at least the flop but it's hard to be sure with this hand. 77 is a check/fold.

I prefer to think what worse hands can call me here, and not what better ones I can fold betting flop. As i said previous, info regarding street actions of villain would be great.
