On the river are we x/c or x/f?

I'm assuming he's a recreational player based on stack size since i don't have any hands on him.

Thanks!

Given the combination of his stack size and it being nl2 I would just value bet river for like 30c, he's never folding 8x and unlikely to fold most pairs tbh

I like to bet the river. Villain is a fish and it is good for us to hold the initiative.

If we bet the river what weaker hand will call / stronger will fold? I doubt he is calling 8x, 3 streets when A appears.

You suggest x/c?

There are not many combos to seek value otr imo. So, probably it is not good idea to invest more money in this hand. I'm rather x/f here.

Definitely betting 1/2 pot on river. He isn't folding that much there, and if you check you lose plenty of value. And as he is most likely fish, he is betting only when he has a hand on river.
