$0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

SB: $18.26 (91.3 bb)
Hero (BB): $27.62 (138.1 bb)
MP: $21.92 (109.6 bb)
CO: $20 (100 bb)
BTN: $20.50 (102.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A 9
MP raises to $0.80, CO folds, BTN calls $0.80, SB folds, Hero calls $0.60

Flop: ($2.50) K 7 3 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, Hero calls $1.75

Turn: ($7.75) Q (3 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, BTN checks

River: ($7.75) 3 (3 players)
Hero bets $3.87, 2 folds

Results:

Spoiler

$7.75 pot ($0.38 rake)
Final Board: K 7 3 Q 3
Hero mucked A 9 and won $7.37 ($4.82 net)
MP mucked and lost (-$2.55 net)
BTN mucked and lost (-$2.55 net)

Both guys are regs with normal stats, normal aggression. After the checks ott I decide that nowbody have some strong hand, that's why I decided to bluff river. Not sure how good it is?

I think its ok with that sizing. You can get pocket pairs to fold. I think bigger sizing wouldnt help you since they would call anyway if they have Kx since there is a missed draw and also they will think you valuebet often with that kind of sizing so it is good bet in my opinion to get JJ-88, 7x range to fold.

Question: How do you (or others) think donkleading here would work? My experience is that by donking the flop we can cap their ranges a little if they are regulars, because they would very often raise you OTF if they have 77, 33 here (3way spot with a FD present). So if they call they have very often a 1 pair hand, which we could get to fold if we put a lot pressure by like overbetting the turn? Of course we would need to know that the opponents tend to fold under pressure (low WTSD). Thoughts?

Let's see what you can represent OTF: Mostly KT-KA and some FDs. You also might be bluffing.

Turn: Which King in your range will check? KT and KJ maybe. AK and KQ will most likely want to get value and protect against FDs.

Your range now consists of a lot of FDs, some Ax that Cbet OTF and a few Kings.

River pretty much blanks. I think that your range is way too weak for a bluff OOP against 2 players regarding your check OTT.

Here I have a similar hand. What do you think about this? (ok maybe i should make my own thread but i think this could be interesting for Vaskatabuci aswell)

I think that in the initial hand after the turn checks we can try a bluff. It is ok vs regs that can find the fold button.

My plan was to x/r if MP cbets and the other guy folds. When the other guy calls it gives me good odds to call. Plus - with x/r you generate more fold equity than with donking. If I get raised after donking by one of the two players I might consider folding and I will lost my equity in the hand.

To your hand:

Since you play vs. BU and CO they have wider ranges, plus BU looks fishy. CO will not raise us very light since the fish is still to act. Here I'm only apprehensive abt. the board as basically we represent only 22 and FDs.

I think that vs this sizing, preflop call is probably marginal, but fine. As some of guys said, I also think that donking the flop is better, but probably nothig wrong with check/calling. As they played the turn, it's very probable that non of the opponents has TP, so I think we can try to make them fold pocket pairs.

I think MP has TP. His bet otf vs. 2 others seems enough strong. But he is in the middle and I think he is capable folding TP vs. 2 tagish players, showing interest in the hand.

Might be, but I still think he would cbet it on the turn. I don't see point in giving up initiative. If he decided to check it, he probably has to call the river.

What would you do if you were MP and have KJ or even AK? I agree he might x/c river, that's why I'm not sure abt. my play.

I think I would bet with intention of giving up the river, especially if it stays multi-way.

I simply don`t like flatting dominated aces cause of flush odds 3way, i find it bad. IMO it`s a squeeze if the original raiser has fold to 3bet higher than 65% or a fold.

I also thought about squeezing in this spot. A9s is not ok in MW pot OOP. Most of the times you will bevs stronger Ax, Mostof the time your flush will be too obvious and as players are tighter postflop in MW pots.... it does not sound good at all.
