#! /usr/bin/env python2

""" to prevent acquisition of cat
"""
while True:
    If asked == 'May we get a kitten':
        answer = 'No!'
    If visiting_grandma and kitten_cuteness == 10 and kitten_loves_Vorpal:
        break
cat.name = 'Punkin'
cat.favourite_perch = Vorpal.shoulder
cat.home = Vorpal.Manor

Enjoy your puppy before it grows up!

Peace,

Can't wait for the bloody thing to grow up. Spends its whole time trying to eat stones, mud and bird shit, unless there's another human around, when she's jumping up trying lick them. Loves mrsjb much more than me for sure.

And you code has a bug.....:spit:

Fortunately, Punkin the attack cat eats bugs.

Be sure to remind the lickees what the licker has on her tongue...

Assert yourself as the alpha male of your pack and all will be well.
(as long as it's OK w/ mrsjb of course)

Peace,

I think he is.

Fwiw, I think the humans will win, because the areas where AI struggles are betsizing and assessing blocker effects, and these top HU guys are good at both of these things.

It is broadcasted on twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/claudico_vs_dougpolk , very interesting how the bot is being exploited and how he is tanking on the river to end up doing weird things.

I love the way the whole thing is getting zero coverage here, not even a news item, even though it's probably at least as important an event for poker as Black Friday imo.

probably coz it sucks here now, and a conscious effort has been made to turn this place into a casino games affiliate

I must admit, I'm surprised how bad this bot is in certain spots. Yeah, I really I don't understand how it is so bad at dealing with blocker effects.

I alerted the editorial people Friday, but after everyone had gone home, and there is a Holiday in Gibralter atm.

Beyond "A jpg created with MATLAB" I have no idea.
It appears to be a plot of a function -- perhaps a recursive one.

If you line up every possible two card hand in a row horizontally and a row vertically, draw a grid and then put a dot for any pair of hands that block each other, that picture is what you get. I'm having some difficulty with handling blockers efficiently, so I had a look at the blocker matrix, and I was just really surprised by how nice it looks. (Actually, the deck is missing three cards in this example, but whatever...).

Piosolver Piotr confirms that I handle blockers like a retard. Something for me to work on.......

I expect so.

A quick update.

Not playing.

Still obsessing about GTO solvers. Still trying to catch PIOSolver. Algorithm good, code speed not so much, but getting there.....

U like matlab?
I like matlab!

I also like C++

I am a Geophysicist and I wrote all my inversion algorithms in matlab.

I still suck at poker though.

I also go to the University of Alberta...

It seems a shame to be at the University of Alberta and not doing Computer Science.......

Compsci has always been an interest of mine, but it falls second to Geophysics. I did a course based MSc in petroleum exploration and my capstone supervisor is world renown in inversion theory, so it was an easy choice imo.

Still not playing poker. Still trying to catch up with Piosolver. Almost there, but this is the best I think I can do without using a better compiler. Going to take a break now.
