Does poker players bluff on occasion? Yes!

Is anyone smart enough to figure out a spot where people never bluff? No, but a HUGE part of the posts I have been active in the last time has for a theme that PEOPLE NEVER BLUFF HERE, ESPECIALLY NOT WITH THAT SIZING (or whatever). If you (like so very many) proclaim that you have found such a spot, and one then adds up the results, the truth would be that a poker players bet is more trustworthy than the Bank of America.

Besides, he might be value betting thinly his two pair queens up with ace kicker.

If they bluff correctly, they can even tell you exactly how often they bluff in each spot, and you can't do shit about it. But if you tell them that you always fold in this and that spot, they can do plenty about it. (Excuse me for being on tilt for being fed up with this theme.)

Would it be true to say the villains "never bluff" more often on 2Nl than in 10NL ?
A bad thing I do sometimes, is call in a spot where revealing the villain's hole cards might tell me a lot

"Never bluff" is never true. But yes, players probably bluff less in NL2 than NL10. This pattern probably holds true up the stakes. Even at NL1000 it might be that they bluff too little in certain spots, perhaps like firing 3 barrels too little than is theoretically correct. (This last thing I don't know from own experience, only hearsay X()

You can also exploit the attitude that "people don't bluff here". My own style at the micros, preferably Zoom, is a complete bluff - almost. I 3-bet preflop a load more than is usually recommended. Then I use position, initiative, and the attitude that people never bluff to buy me much more than my fair share of small pots. Bluffing is theoretically supposed to break even between good players. Much of my winnings come from bluffing and bluff-catching. The honest hands tend to even out. I must work on that, must be something wrong with my value bet sizing or something.

A hole-card camera would sometimes make things easier.

with no info in a 6 players table i would just 5bet shove

as played im prolly folding, AK make sense with V line (his bluffs like A2s-A5s, AJo etc too) and he would probably bet all his bluffs OTT so ... his river bet is value heavy imo

preflop your equity is 57% (so it is +ev to shove, but if you want more EV to decide then i think it is ok to call the 4bet and hope for a 2 5 7 flop where your equity will be 65%)
as played on flop your equity drops to 45%
on turn you equity is 6%

as played i would also fold on river
he did 4bet preflop and he is UG and every card you didn't want to see has hit the board

I don't like playing for 150+BB preflop vs UTG.

very nice Hand imho. his pre 4-betting range maybe could not contain QQ an AK. Never get it in 150 bb deep, even it might be no big mistake!

I think he is not bluffing the river nor value betting worse, almost ever. So, I would say nice hand!

Not never, but never vs UTG... Some villains will have AA 100% there.
