On a side note, thank goodness that your public coachings are available to Silver :f_thumbsup:, I need to go through a ton of their recordings that I've missed.

Agreed, Tony. But if students are pushed for $, they can use the free online version of holdem resources at least to get some decent default ranges.

Hope you enjoy the videos!

Had a 2-hour session with Tim a few days ago and it was excellent. I've tried about 5 or so coaches at different points and despite being more expensive than Tim, I never really felt they were worth the money. The previous coaches I tried we essentially attempting to create clones of themselves, whereas I found that Tim's focus was on understanding my thought process and breaking it down to show why a certain decision may not have been the most appropriate for the given scenario.

Also he's quite friendly so I didn't feel like such a fool when we were looking at some of my more 'creative' decisions.

Funnily enough, the price is undefined for €10 SnGs because $10<€10<$11 currently :f_biggrin: (But I'd rather the € go back above $1.10 because most of my liferoll is in €s :f_frown: :gl: )

I think it will be fair if you charge $55 for non-Twister €10 SnGs but $70 for €10 Twisters because the attainable hourly winrate is way bigger at the latter

Spoiler

and perhaps no one else of your students plays them, so no one will object :f_biggrin:
The same argument applies to $30 Spin & Gos - they're more like $60 turbos in terms of winrates and variance.

I yet need to internalise the knowledge from public coachings, though; its amount is almost making my head explode, and it won't ready for additional info for about a month :f_biggrin:

Hey tonypmm, I wish I had as much control over the exchange rates as I do over the content of the public coachings ;)

All the best!

Hola iaia35! Mi español no es genial, pero podemos darle una oportunidad. Si no es posible debido a la barrera del idioma es demasiado grande no te voy a cobrar por la sesión de coaching. ¿Qué te parece?

Please contact me on Skype, bogdy23, and I'll provide some more information (with the player's permission). I don't want to give his details here because it's a public thread. :)

Just had to drop in to plug my longtime student and great all-round guy, guudfella87! I started working with him exactly a year ago and he's had his fair share of struggles during that time. But it all came together last night/this morning, with him coming third in the Big $55 and second in the $8k guaranteed $109, for a combined score of $5k. You can watch his recent video with Collin Moshman here.

CONGRATULATIONS MAN!!!

I work together with Tim now since june 2015.
I can tell you guys he is an amazing coach and also a very nice person.
He turned me from a slightly winning / break even player into a pretty good player

He is very good in explaining stuff and it never feels like work

From 7$ games to almost 30$ games (starting next month ) in that short period of time

so everyone who is looking for a coaching in sngs I can recommend Tim !

Thank you Tim for all of that
