The level is very different. I only played 2, but in both I faced two regs or semiregs, certainly not the fish one faces in $1. I think one has be conservative on the BR to move up to $3. I only played 2 because I got rivered in the heads up of an $18 pool one. Seemed like I was getting to a flying start on $3 after pwing the table ♠_cool: and then one card killed an impeccable tourney. It left me in a semi tiltish state, since I was already thinking I had $18 in the bank to continue my shot. I called it for the day.

I'd say it's shopping therapy because the optimal way of FPP conversion (for less than Supernovas) is playing 235 FPP satellites to the Sunday Storm, then unregistering from it and playing Spins with the T$. P.S.

Yes and, surprisingly, yes. The rake is nominally bigger than in HU hypers of the same BI; but considering both the variance (which doesn't bite that much, btw: a reg usually beats the games post-rakeback already with the 2x-6x tourneys he gets, 10x+ are a bonus) and regs' winrates, a Spin plays essentially like a HU hyper of the twice bigger buy-in level, and with this in mind, the rake is comparable, while Spins are much more multitablable.

As the end of the month is approaching I think it will be nice to come up with some interesting/fun goals/challanges for June.
Of course I don't want them to be money oriented. I also don't want them to be like "play xxx tourneys" but if I don't come up with better ideas this will do...
If you guys have something interesting in mind, please let me know! (I guess that's asked a lot around here? :f_biggrin:)

Sweet, bad beat or not, review the hands you lost/won to see if your game is improving. Hopefully you'll get super deep in cash soon.
Some advices on working on your game!
Divide things into categories and those categories into smaller chunks. This will be much easier and more achievable goals to aim and track.
For example:
Opening ranges:
BTN and SB
Defending to 3 bet (call or 4 betting)
BTN vs SB, BTN vs BB, SB vs BB
3 betting ranges (NAI and Shove)
SB vs BTN, BB vs BTN, BB vs BTN, BB squeeze vs BTN open and SB cold call
Cold calling ranges:
SB vs BTN, BB vs SB, BB vs BTN, BB multi way
etc
I can give you more suggestions but trust me doing this already will clear up your pre flop game plan and make your Spin and Go game easier.
Final note:
Don't trust all the material out there! There is already many bad videos with wrong ranges. Be smart, open up equilab, understand why such hand would be more profitable as flat or 3 bet or fold or 4 bet etc. Don't just blindly take anything some coach says. Aim to always fully understand why something is happening so that you can learn to exploit such tendency and improve as a player rather then blindly following what standard thing is and become a sheep for skimming by better players.
