I think we should check/fold the flop. I believe he has alot of pocket pairs there and is not folding ever. AQ is probably not good enough against his range. When we decided to bet the flop, I guess we have to call his raise, given the price.

Agree with Alleen86. If you want to Cbet you should bet a lot smaller against a mid stack. I think half pot bet is good enough, because than you have still room to fold if he shipped. I will do that with my value hands as well off course.

Cheers,
Thanx guys
The cbet was made to commit the midstack (half his behind), I wasn't intending to fold.
I will be thinking a little more in future

I wouldn't play the hand that way if I was the villain.
Still do not like competing for the pot postflop.

I see AK played this way often enough, to know better

No, :) But holding AQ I should be consider he sometimes does this with AK

I am try filter HM2 all in pot less 101bb to try to evaluate my play both as short and against short, but seems overoptimistic presentation so I am unsure if I am doing it right

How do you assume BB's call 3b range?

it should be very narrow range( no 4b so a few AA,KK, main range is AK,QQ,JJ )

Do you think these hand fold against your cb?

All in preflop, (includes a lot of play with me as the shotstack)

All in on flop against or as a clown

So telling me post flop decisions are better?
Run away and join the circus?

BB'scalling range can vary, but it is something like that - JJ-77,AK,AQ,AJs,KQs

Honestly (my thinking at the time was any action against him should be enough to force him to fold or shove ) which I was thinking to call as I have a thought that these guys will squeeze the very first opportunity that presents itself. When he just calls I am sure I am ahead.
My thinking there is perhaps confused (thinking like he only has 20bb and has to commit fold to any big raise) but he has 50bb. But for some reason I feel AQ is good enough to steal his bb and the preflop raise and you know not fold to resistance :) or a resteal from some clown. When the flop comes, well I always bet the paired board, I have the imitative, I have over cards, its an even money bet, I don't want to check fold first steal attempt. I don't think he has overs like you suggest (confusions with the different forms of clown particularly in their "unknown" form) because my thinking at the time he would just shove those like the dwarf clowns do. So could be wrong. (obviously wrong)
He can only pot the flop and is done anyway, he just may fold to a bet? some small pair weak ace or club draw? In any case my mind was made up preflop, which just cant be that good apon reflection.
Also truthfully I felt I he had an ace I was ahead, I did the silly double look thing when I saw AK expecting like my preflop thinking that AQ was ahead of his likely range and not re-evaluating when he flats.
:f_drink:

Ps adds another hand to the overvalued AQ tag
