Flopped a monster in the BB. How should I have played this?

SB seems like passive player, who likes to see a lot of hands until he hits big. So i would fold to check raise as SB seems very strong in this situation, especially in a 6way pot OOP. I would say no big PP in small blind range, he would probable raise those preflop. I put some flushdraws in his range, but he probably would play those passively.

I would probably open pot and fold if there is alot of action.

First of all you should always obey the simple rule: Never go broke in a limped pot!
This, and in addition the very deep stacks will lead you at the right decision.
In a mw pot, I will lead the flop, and play it very cautiously, because of the above said!

I agree with the above. you have only invested your BB in that multiway pot and you shouldn't go broke with that hand. The range of SB is very very wide so he can have anything in his hand, except big pocket pairs JJ+ and AK because as mentionted above he would raise these hands preflop. you are totally beaten in that spot by 22, and hands with four and better kicker. he wouldn't play a FLDR or any combo draw given this flop by c/r in a multiway pot.

well if you were in a raised pot with a single opponent or you somehow are involved in a 3bet pot then you are going to put all your chips in the middle, but in a family pot with 6 people in it then you should consider the possibility, that someone else could hold a better hand than yours, is very high.

Even vs one villain it is risky to play for all your deep stack with low trips and no kicker. Deepstack play differs from standard BSS.

I presume I need to tighten my range when I have a deep stack. I will review some strategy guides on this as it's not an area I have researched before.
