1.3K hands session, up a little over 2 buyins so far, so I'm back in the right track. I did notice when I began todays session that I was being excessively spewy in some postflop spots, as soon as I corrected that things started going well. Completed the Zoom challenge, so I should be crushing that tourney with my 10K chips stack. 
The boost in the number of players do to the promo was clearly visible today, traffic has been twice what it is normally at times and at least 50% above normal throughout the day. Average VPIP was around 2% up the whole day, hovering between 12 and 14 when it normally is 10 to 12. So everything points at this month being a great month at the Zoom tables. ♠_evil:

Shit happens, sometimes. But I do really hope I keep facing this type of player in Zoom challenge month. 
Played 4K hands yesterday night and 2K so far tonight.
Yesteraday was a pretty sickening up and down session. There definitely is nothing worse then playing and playing and being break even. I'd make 4 stacks, lose 8, make 8, lose 4, etc. all night. Ended up the night with a $5, one stack loss. It was one of those sessions where every donk bet finds a reraise, every cbet gets called, when I don't cbet villain wins hand w high card or 22 every time, also every time I actually have a decent hand ie overpair or top pair, villain was being so aggresive you had to fold. So it was a tough session. So, wow, I really got slapped around for 4K hands. 
Of course, getting pushed around for 4K hands doesn't mean it's extended bad luck, it means bad play. Indeed at some point at the end of the night I started getting off "auto" volume grinding mode and starting to identify where I was leaking that I wasn't getting anything going despite winning many big pots.
Zoom is a tough game to maintain consistency, the full speed action, sometimes makes you stop thinking about what's going on in the urge to click the next button. List of defects I had slowly slipped into :
- Too loose play in general post flop, which includes :
- Donk betting into multiple villains
- Cbetting boards that aren't 100% dry, without having the will to multiple barrel if necessary
- Playing draws aggresively on paired boards
- Excessive loosening of opening range, for example opening any two from any place when bb and sb were rocks
- Calling behind with draw hands vs. villains with less then a full stack
- Calling with draw hands vs. 3bet against villains with less then a full stack
So, LOL no wonder I was leaking like a shower. 
Took a while to get back to playing well. If anything I'm glad I was breakeven after that rollercoaster and with my br intact to get serious again. ♠_cool:
Finally today, in 2K hands, up around 4 buyins, hasn't been a perfect session, but I've corrected everything by now, finally began crushing it against in the last 500 hands or so, after an up and down start to the session again.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention. I had an MTT session today to tune out a bit of Zoom before getting back to grinding. I used the VIP tourneys as an excuse to play some tourneys. Again, two top 5% finishes, but no luck when it matters. And in the bigger one, the $30K Silver VIP tourney, couldn't ever get anything going.

Already passed the 500 points to keep Silver status on Pokerstars for next month in just a week. But achieving Gold status is going to require a good grind. According to my calculations 20K hands of NL5 a week need to be played to reach Gold (around 90K for the month). I played 15K this week, so I'm already 5K behind the clip. Maybe it will have to wait till I'm in NL 10. Not going to overplay just to reach the Gold. There with only 10K hands a week it seems on can reach Gold.
I finally found out why I'm silver with no explanation, I won a status upgrade thanks to the Get Rich or Die Trying challenge. Funny. 
Too bad I don't have pokerstrategy tracked in Pokerstars, I would be Gold and would have gotten an upgrade to Platinum, I really would have liked to see some Platinum material.

Today there was a nationwide strike here so I had all day to play poker 
In the morning played mostly MTTs played around 11 or 12 MTTs, ITM in 4 of them, but ended with around a $10 loss, mainly because I took a couple of shots at $5 ones where I couldn't get anything going, card dead from start to bust :f_mad:. Two very deep runs again, but YET AGAIN in two smaller buyin ones, close but no cigar.

Then went back to some Zoom and finally broke out to a new high :profit:, a really well deserved breakout. Was about time I got something going. ♠_cool: I had a streak of around 2 or 3K hands where I was up or breakeven although I couldn't stack anyone. Every time I had the nuts the river either scared the villain away or the river gave the villain a suckout. Something similar happened at the start of the MTT session I had this morning, the sickest imaginable river suckouts in 3 tourneys in a row in a span of like 5 minutes.

OK, people you can have a good laugh. I actually used the pokerstars "responsible gaming" feature. I turned off all MTTs and SNGs so I can't buy into them. :wtf::mdr::sifflote::censored::truestory::f_o: Spewed away around $20 BR on MTTs today because I was bored and wanted to play some MTTs wasn't even playing seriously, so I obviously didn't even make the money in any of them. Need to keep my focus on NL5 Zoom damnit.

OK, so, to sum things up, I tilted around 3 weeks ago. Had a stretch of more then 5K hands on Zoom without stacking a single opponent and I slowly got exasperated about playing and playing and not making profit. With my BR at $100 I went to NL50 Zoom tables and although I was initially up almost a stack, two deep bad beats killed my $100 (flush vs. better flush) and AA vs. AJs preflop all in, JJx board 
So that's that. Grinding huge volumes really isn't for my any more, just don't have the patience to play steadily for months. I don't think I'll be giving any more shots at cash tables. I eventually get bored and that obviously leads to bad play and lost money.
So with the 2000 FPPs I grinded out on NL5 Zoom I started with $0 bankroll again. In the last two weekends I cashed both the AA and 72 Accumulators (didn't qualify for the KK one tomorrow since I haven't played more Zoom). Cashed two Silver $30000 Weeklys too. For a BR slightly above $30. Today was my first MTT grind in like a month. Again, SO, SO, SO, SO close but no big cashes. Almost final tabled two 5000 man MTTs today, but the luck gods keep denying me my first final table. For now I think I'll only be playing Saturdays and maybe Sundays, not gonna play on weekdays since at the time I play the tournaments are pretty shitty and have less traffic then on peak hours. I've banned myself from playing Cash tables and set a limit of $2.75 MTTs to keep things in line. Ended the day with almost $50 BR today, still have around 1500 FPP to play. I've dipped a toe in different sats to see what's worth playing. For now I'll keep playing the $30000 Silver Weekly and try to qualify for the $100000 Gold monthly through sats. Still evaluating what other worthwhile sats there are to spend the rest of the points. I'm sure I can get around $50 more with those 1500 FPP. So I think my bankroll situation isn't that disastrous.

Had another poker day today. Won't be playing till next Saturday now. BR up to $70. Still have 1200 FPP left. Finally found some interesting sats today. Some low FPP rebuy sats and I'll keep giving shots at $2 sats to $11-27 MTTs. Biggest cash of the day was a $2.75 Sat to $27.50. Also bubbled a $2 Sunday Storm sat, but there was a remnant of $6 for the bubble boy. On massive MTTs didn't make any real deep runs today. Was doing well ITM in two $1 regular speed ones, but cards crapped out in one and in the other I made a mistake. My morning session was pretty horrible, just couldn't win any hands, then in the afternoon was back to normal, even bubbled a couple of tourneys so I could have cashed more.
