Very speculative like your value betting example however, good agression. At least you commit and don't fold to the river donk haha. I do feel if you do this a lot though you will increase swings in your game massively for 3bb which you have to be certain to win a large large percentage of the time if your going to do this. If you go on a bad/unlucky run of these plays it will have a large impact on your BR.

There are better spots to make moves in and with hands with more equity when you are called.
If your going to raise flop it's tough to work out if you should continue on the turn but you should definitely give up on the river.

Aggression is good and to follow your reads but it's important to do them in good spots and not just on a whim he isn't sitting out next hand no need for wild in a vacuum plays.

yes, he was a reg so i am not winning so much vs him in the long run. On top of that he was attacking my blind too much.

On river i think he folds an overpairs or A7. I think he only calls trips or better.

I would flat flop+play turn with the 2x over + 8 backdoor outs, his high cbet and odds he's give you, you can flat loads here, use your position.

41% isn't too much btw that seems pretty solid 100bb deep with raise fold strategy - a lot of good players use that. It's actually low as overall stat at micros as people fold too much, good vs good reg.

Make sure you don't make mistakes like this post tho - that's why I tell beginners to fold these hands, you will hurt your R if you go crazy postflop, you might turn this into a -ev call preflop even. You've got plenty of gutshots, good backdoor draws without outs to highcards that can raise here if you think he's got a sizing tell. (medium high card outs play better when you flat and keep both ranges wide than when you raise and relative hand strenghtof top pairs goes down)

You should definitely give up this turn with your hand . You rep no 8s and will have to barrel the river as well to get him off any pair. And your equity sucks you should have plenty of hands with at least a gutter that you barrel before you barrel this.

Also again, you should have reads on the guy after 500 hands he obviously has blatant sizing tells, I'll talk about how to make and abuse these on Monday. You are basically clicking buttons hoping he bets small and is capable of folding at this point with a hand that doesn't make much sense

Now that you have said this person is a regular, if he is note taking and can mark down your high level of agression blind on blind like this he will call you down much lighter in the future which will make your plays rather -ev I think. I hope you understand where I am coming from haha

I agree with Lemon. Would like to add this-you should see the cbet turn stat too, before you decide what to do. If turn cbet is low you can flat flop and if he x turn you can try to take the hand with a bet.

41% isn't a high steal %, he's definitely not "attacking" you're blind. I'm playing with close to 80% st, so you'd think I'm some sort of psychopath lol.
If you want to play back with such a trashy hand I'd favor 3 betting since you're in position. You don't have that much playability with Q9o to call behind.

30-35% is a normal ATS from SB vs unknown.

In this spot you can steal 100% vs nits that have 80% FTS.
If you steal 80% vs any player then good luck in that.

i dont remember exactly.
Probably I was thinking he callled the small turn bet with a small pair type hand.
And on river he made a small donk block bet and ive picked up on that probably.

it probably was not a 3barrel planned thing but a river adjustment
