I have a question and need to know if this is correct or not:
How much % of our 3bet bluff range should be polarized?
vs Ft3bet=50% and vs_3bet_call=50% then our bluff range is 100% polarized towards value(high equity card).
vs Ft3bet=50% and vs_3bet_call= 0% then our bluff range is 0% polarized towards value(high equity card).
vs Ft3bet=50% and vs_3bet_call=25% then our bluff range is 50% polarized towards value(high equity card).
vs Ft3bet=50% and vs_3bet_call=30% then our bluff range is 60% polarized towards value(high equity card).

If this is correct then it messes up my Cold call ranges and i will finish learning the ranges in more than 1 year or never:s_cry:

Hey 2reac,

Checking flop is fine here since don't have good potential. However after our opponent checks back it's generally fine to go for a double-barrel with our air holdings.

HOWEVER - when we get raised on the river we should just be folding every time. This is fancy-play-syndrome. Hardly anyone will raise the river light at these limits so 3betting the river as a bluff is essentially a spew.

I understand what you mean regarding him not representing too many holdings, but its actually more likely he slowplayed something badly than is bluffing on the river. He could even play 99 this way or river Kings-Up and think he has the nuts. Easy river fold vs raise.

I don't really fully understand this.

Firstly our ranges will vary depending on whether we are IP or OOP. IP we can show a tendency towards merging or depolarizing our range (but not entirely in most cases, it's still good to use some of the middle of our range as flats). OOP we will tend towards polarizing.

Keep in mind that it can still be completely fine to use a polarized range vs an opponent who rarely folds to 3bets. Perhaps we can generate a decent chunk of equity postflop. So in vast majority of instances the correct solution can never be derived by purely looking at preflop tendencies as is done above.

AF = (bets+raises) / calls (at least in HM2)

He can have some missed FD and some PPs that decided to thin value bet river. But vs such a nitty player just x/f river imo
