Lets say UTG open 15% and folds 50% to 3bets.

Our % of bluff should be around the % of the villain fold to 3bet stat, right?
vs 15% we mostly 3bet just KK+ for value... Since he folds just 50% to 3bet should we 3bet also QQ-JJ and AK or add instead some bluffs like Axs to the KK+ range ?

Think this is a very linear example, but lets say BU vs CO where CO opens 27% and folds to 3bet 50%. With Axs we have a +EV call. What bluffs (and value) would you have against a guy like this. I mean, AA is a clear +EV call, but 3bet is the most +EV play. AQs vs AQo, do we 3bet some? Suited or not? Suited will play better in 3bet pots and we will have to play ~50% of the pots, right? But yeah, also play better in single raised pots / multiway pots than AQo. We can go down in our range like AJo / AJs , what's better? Both are +EV calls but is that the most +EV play?

Hi bonecore,

You have some thins wrong.
First, when you are the PFR and open to 3bb and villain 3bets to 9bb, when you fold you are loosing your 3bb, right? In 100 hand, you are loosing 300bb/100 . Everything clear?
So, when you face a 3bet, everything above -300bb/100 is a good result. Your goal isn't make tons of money, is to keep the EV of villain smallest as possible otherwise, if you always fold you always are losing 300bb/100 and your opponent is winning 450bb/100 (your 3bb plus 1,5bb from blinds), assuming that everyone folds every time you fold.
You have just 71 hands, that's nothing to do something like this. But keep in mind what is a good result or not.

When you are 3betting yeah, you should turn profit, but the filter isn't that simple for the same reason. When you face a 4bet, if you always fold you are loosing 900bb/100 (if you 3bet to 9bb).
Again, 58 hands is not enough.

Overall, 2725 is a super small sample. That's nothing. Impossible to say if you are a winner or loosing player. Even with a 50k sample you could be wining and be a loosing player.

@IuriTPena
it is a small sample that is why i was thinking to keep doing same game. Thanks for reply!
I will try a few thousands hands more.

The tricky part was that i never had such downswing like this. I play not bat but still lose money!

PS: i dont think my cc and 3bet ranges are that bad... do u see problems in next picture (yellow is 3bet)?

spotted a probable problem. Calling suited conectors oop could be it.

Do we have a value shove OTR? How should we play?

Possibly not a 3 streets of value hand because of the paired Queens on board. It really depends on villain.

Assuming it's not 3 streets of value that leaves either x/f river or underbet river very small with intention of folding to a jam.

The issue we are having is that comments are very general.

There is still no mention of position in these statements which is hugely relevant to the situation. Our 3bet range is not going to be the same OOP as it is IP. Also the exact proportion of value hands to bluff hands will be related to what types of hands we are using as bluffs. If our bluffs include hands like KJo or Axs we can generally get away with having a much higher ratio of them in our range when compared to a situation where we are bluffing with speculative SCs like 45s.

It's true that there may be some correlation between our opponents fold to 3bet and that in general the higher our opponents fold the more we should be bluffing from an exploitative point of view. But as mentioned earlier this is not even taking into consideration what may happen postflop. We may be able to bluff extremely frequently vs a guy who never folds to 3bets if he has a tendency to give up extremely often postflop.

As a rough guide for default ranges you could check out the walkthrough series. I can't help any more for now unless your questions become more specific than they are currently.

@Bonecore - As IuriTPena mentions, the sample size is too small to draw any decent conclusions. However we would expect even this sample size of 3bets to show a profit in the majority of cases, so it's likely worth looking at individual hands to see if you are making any serious errors postflop.

Hi W34z3l i have some strange question for you.I am playing poker from 2-3 months on NL2 i have 14bb/100 hands winrate with a break even red line over 100k hands.
Here come the strange part (for me) when i moved up on NL5 with bankroll of 35buy over 100k hands i make 2bb/100 hands winrate.
Is that normal ?
How i can define where is the problem ?

Hi w34z3l. Had a very tough decision today :

Villain is a tag regular 22/18 3bet 7.4/ AF 2.4 very solid overall.
I think Kx is very often in his 3bet range and also on Cbet F range. I played passive because the board is very dry, and I want to let him bet because his cbet on this F texture is most of the time bluff. OTT KQ,KK make the nuts and if I raise he will fold all his weaker hands and will continue only with Qx,KK. River is a very bad card for him to bluff and also very bad for me to call because I believe he will xback Qx.
What do you think?

Hey w34z3l, i have two questions about your squeeze-vid

1. Do you really fold hands like ATo, KJo, KTo in the bb vs. late open? For me ,ATo and KJo were default bluff3bets . I understand your reason not to 3bet, but it doesn´t feel great to fold this hands, especially vs. minopen from BU.

2. I was a little bit surprised that TT isn´t in your valuesqueeze range. Maybe its too thin on lower limits, but i think on NL50 and higher it performes better when squeezing. What are the reasons for just flatting? Is it cause you will rarely be in great shape when villian plays 4bet/call?

5nl is tougher than nl2 but shouldn't be THAT much tougher. Could be a mixture of variance, slightly tougher games, and making some mistakes with your game. To pinpoint the exact issue it makes sense to run some DB analysis.

Looks ok to me overall. I doubt we should be calling river.

Obviously we have a decent bluffcatcher but seems overall unlikely to be bluff. Good for villain if he is bluffing imo.

I have no problems with this hand. Turn is actually very close and can potentially be a fold since all of our outs our dominated after the board is paired.

River is fine, raising would be too thin, but it seems like there are hardly any stacks left anyway.

Yeah, I really do =D I doubt they are super bad squeezes or anything though. However the vid was not really talking about min-opens at all and naturally we should expand our squeezing range vs a min-open. So top of my current folding range in the vid could be ok squeezes vs min-raise etc.

Just a limit thing. Probably fine at nl50+. I wouldn't read too much into this not being in the default range. I'm somewhat indifferent and usually end up flatting because lower variance, but squeezing is fine also. Squeezing could easily be higher EV along with more headaches.
