Hi Everyone,

I slowplayed trips on the flop because I was pretty sure Villain was going to fold to a bet here.
What do you think? How would you have played it?

Fill your stack to 100 BB.
Do you think he has Ax there?

Nitrol, thanks for the advice, I'll set up the refill option.

When I slowplay on the flop I am putting him on 55+ or broadways and I wanted to keep him in the hand a little bit more in case he had one of those. Ax seemed very unlikely although not impossible of course.

StormlorD, yeah, I was too focused on my trips and didn't took into account the possible flush draw, which is clearly a mistake.
I will definately protect my hand next time there is a draw on the board.

He is opening from MP and without the A♣: and Q♣: he doesn't have so many FDs. On the other hand it is not standard to not fill the stack and maybe the opponent is fishy. In this case start from betting the flop looks better. If you don't bet flop I prefer call turn and call river, than raising him.

In fact AA2 is a board on which many hands will continue.

Yeah looking back at it I should have bet on the flop.

Thanks for the comments!

I don't mind checking back the flop, since he doesn't have a flushdraw really that often. I would then rather call the turn and river (or bet if he checks). I think you overplayed the hand on the turn, since there are alot of better hands he can have, like AK, 22, TT, AT.

Alleen, thanks for the useful comment.

I should have been more careful on the Turn for sure!
