Don't really know what my MT ratio is, I guess it's about 4 to 5 these days. Anyway, I'm back on the good side of variance again: after closing October with a -600$ loss, November has been really good with a 6700$ profit so far (18k hands + the weekly Sunday tourneys). I'm rolled good enough so I'm grinding it out on NL400 again these days (bankroll at 19k$ again).
Anyway, I'm keeping my dream alive of taking down one huge tourney prize. I'm doing well in the Sunday tourneys but it seems that I have this glass ceiling of 1.5k$ I can't get above. Hopefully that ceiling will break next week, as I'm participating in my second semi-big live tourney, the Belgian Championship. Buyin is 1700€ but I'm getting staked in exchange for 60% of my profit which of course is a good deal for me since I'm running no risk at all and I'm having a free shot at making some money. Playerfield should be around 1000+, is supposed to be quite fishy, and the blind structure is quite slow and deepstacked (even if I don't get my stack up I'll still have 25 BB left after 5 hours of play). Prize structure is quite top heavy though, but if I manage to finish ITM I'll be a happy player. Wish me luck 
Well, the Belgian Championship was ok I guess, didn't cash but made it till the second day, where I had a bad beat for a 65BB pot with AA vs KQ on the river. After that I was short with 20BB and winded up getting busted with 66 vs. AA. Exit at ~130 of 843.
Just finished second in a Stars PCA qualifier, won 650$, only first got a PCA package of 14k$. Lost with JJ against KK and now a complete donkey (not saying because I'm frustrated, he really was one) goes to the Bahamas instead of me. Pissed.
This is getting frustrating. It feels like I'm going absolutely nowhere.

And that's without the 1k hands where I took a shot at NL1000 and lost 3 stacks. I know that you have to think long term in poker, but this is already becoming quite long-term imo.
Roll at 12k now. Back to NL200 it is for me. Gonna give it another 2 months and I'm gonna try to play a lot of hands (90k+ in the upcoming 2 months), but if I continue to run like this, I'm calling it a day and I'm probably gonna look for a real job.
sick, but you should try putting in more volume. If you're playing full-time, 100k hands/month should be easily attainable (actually, that's just half-time). 100k+ BE stretches are more than likely, so unless you have a lot of savings (always 3-4 months' worth living expenses), I would recommend playing much more to make the downswings shorter (in time, that is)
Hey Timor, that graph is fuckin ugly, must be tough on your nerves to run this bad.
I have to say though, that being pro, especially at such "low limits" as 200nl and 400nl you should reallky play 100k hands/month. If poker is your job you shouldn't work any less than at a real job, at least while your hourly is still somewhat low.
That's just my opinion but it is probably something to think about

Well, you guys are definitely right about the volume, but since I'm having a partial income from my PS work as well (2 coachings a week + hand judging + making vids from time to time) I'm not really capable of playing 100k hands a month, which would mean about 250 hours of playing, so about 8 hrs a day. If I did that on top of my ps work, not only I would get a burnout quite fast, also it would mean that one of the most appealing parts of being a pro, the personal freedom, would be nullified.

Just a crazy, crazy session. Getting outdrawn constantly for almost the entire session, and at the end hitting sets, straights and flushes like a madman. Still more than 3 stacks under equity yet again though, so although I'm quite happy, I actually shouldn't be

How much rakeback do you get? You should make a living from pure rb at your level, I guess. At least at some decent site like towergaming :).
Don't get any rakeback, I play on Stars and they don't offer that.
Great session again today:
- Got blinded away in a PCA 650$ qualifier, get no hands for 8 orbits and then got busted out with AJ vs AQ.
- Played 2 65$ sng qualifiers for Sunday 500, don't get there ldo.
- Busted in the Sunday Warmup a little before the bubble, don't even remember how but I got it in with a flip or something.
- Finished ~1000ish in the Sunday Million for 300$, after getting it all in 3way with AA vs AK vs 88 for a 107k pot, 88 wins so instead of having a 33BB stack I wind up with 5BB and get busted 2 hands later with AK vs JT.
Last but not least: played 1665 NL200 hands, net result -1288$ (another 3 stacks below equity yet again btw, but that's becoming so standard I probably don't even have to mention it anymore).

Same sh*t, different day. 3600 hands today, lost 580$ (EV: + 197$). Roll at 10.5k$. Can't even bother to post the sick beats I had today, I'm sure you guys heard it all before.

maybe you should try grinding 100nl for some stressfree income ? I f you put in some good volume you can make 5k easily assuming you have a big edge. Oh and you should definitely play with rakeback.
He shouldn't be grinding NL100SH if he wants a professional level.

he is playing 3600hands/day, it's enough imo. If he can beat 100nl at 5ptbb which I am sure he can, then 100k hands = 10k of profits, which is a good month salary iyam, and pretty stressfree in terms of swings.
also, it wouldn't be a long term installment, just a move to replenish the roll and bounce back
If only he'd do this everyday

Just would be a shame if the dream would end due a combination of stretched downswing with low volume, that's all.

btw: why do you play $650 qualifier or $300 tourneys? Shouldn't you follow BRM in MTTs too? I remember something like single buy-in up to 1% of BR is correct...
My volume needs to be pulled up drastically indeed, and that's what I'm working on this month. My aim is to have at least 60k hands and preferably even 70k or more in december.
ATM, since I only play on Stars for the last 3 months, I'm only Platinum, but I guess that will change soon. I play those tourneys because I qualified for them through low buyin satellites, or get them through fpp's because it's more profitable than buying cash bonusses with it (even more so because I'm decent at tourneys so theoretically speaking my ROI makes it even more profitable).
As for the NL100-idea: As I still have 52 buyins for NL200 I don't really feel the need to move back down to NL100 yet, it's an idea that might be good in the future but for now, since I know I'm beating NL200 pretty easily, too soon to implement. Will reconsider it when I'm at 8k or so.
btw, why don't you post all that on raisydaisy? If i'm the only one updating it, there won't be much interest for the readers =/
I know stars are the best site ever, have greatest traffic and greatest software, but having 60%+ rb was enough for me to switch to another site :).
