I led here purely because I had such a strong hand, I am just wondering what line you prefer? I am likely up against 56 always here but do you think a x/c is fine here on the flop. I think the action likely goes, x,x,b,r on the flop and then it is back to me so what would you do in that spot.

In my head I can only see this going in on the flop and flipping for it.

Hi there.
PLO2 5 Players your play is okisch, since u can see, u are even ahead against the Flop-NutStr8.
But since players are very predictable, i choose a more nutty line.
That means I don't have the best hand, so I don't lead out into the agressor with both FH- and fLushouts, sice i am not afraid of any turncard, exept mybe an A, 5 or 6 that make someone a straight, hwo doen't have one yet.
The important thing is, I want action, but I don't want the BU to fold weaker hands that could cbet.
So ch/r is my line here. If BU bets big and SB folds I can see a ch/c instead of a c/r. Following by a c/c and a c/f on both blank turns and rivers.

Fold pre. This hand has nasty reverse implied odds 4 ways...

Think you call pre is the worst, but you hit the absolute top of your range on flop and you should be welcoming any raise here. Live set with live flushdraw is 66% over any made straight and if the heart hits on turn or board pairs, people with the bare straight wont put any more money in it (now they just think I HAVE ZE NUTS) and you might be behind vs Ahi flush then so just GII there is no better line but the call preflop is bad.

Yeah fold pre. If somehow you manage to see a flop here with this hand, donking is fine as it is multiway pot. When money starts to go in, you dance a little and shove.

I can not see a pre fold, except u are a very bad Player postflop.
1. PLO is a Flopagame
2. You get insane Odds in a game where equitys are very close (you can even wait for a flop with a nutflushdraw)
3. Your implieds at that limit are amazing

Set value sucks, at it will be the bottom set always. Khigh flush has some value, but it's totally different than Ahigh flush. And if you wait for the nutflush, you will lose at lot more waiting for it than you get when you actually hit it.

Ok, so I have leak there maybe.
So what Range (maybe in Propokertool Ranking %) do you call there? I mean u only need 12,5% equity.
Even K832r gets that. Sure u have to have a good postflopgame, but this is PLO2 your implieds are amazing so is the pasiveness.

You can't just check your preflop equity and compare it to pot odds. That way you will pretty much always have the odds to call with almost any hand

Example: BTN opens 2,5bb and you are in SB. You need to call for 2bb and the pot would be 6bb (if BB folds). If you think you need 33% equity to call, it means that you can call with any hand that doesn't have 3 or 4 of a kind in it. That doesn't make sense.

As you said, PLO is postflop game. That's why you can't just look at the raw preflop equity, you have to think about what kind of situations your hand will put you in postflop. Of course here you have to pay 1bb to a multiway pot, so peeling the flop is ok. But in a multiwaypot you want to have as much nut potential as possible, as often in the showdown hand strengths are stronger (compared to HU pots). With this hand your strong hits are limited to 2nd nut flush draw and bottom set. Either one of those isn't that nice when you get action in multiwaypot.

Sometimes you get super lucky and hit something like this, but it doesn't make up all the situations where you need to check-fold the flop or continue with huge reversed implied odds.

Cheers for the input kyberri, I agree it is a fold preflop and thanks for your points.

Just clarifying that making one mistake pre-flop can compound mistakes post and cost you a buy in is what kyberri is getting at I believe. I think as played I was lucky to not run in to the top of peoples ranges here. I understand that concept and I think the post-flop play is fairly standard.

A good example, playing AT74 OOP vs LP raiser, you hit Axx flop, x turn and x river is rainbow but you face two streets/ three streets. Your call pre compounds a mistake and you will likely have kicker problems. Here I think the call is poor, I rarely hit flops I like and will fold probably 90% of the time which is just not getting me money.
