Every time you act ask yourself these questions:
How will i make money in this situation?
What is his range? How will he react?

If you have no answer and you dont have a very strong hand then just fold preflop.

WOW what a day. I got so tilted that my head hurt from sadness!
Felt like crying since i put so much effort and have so bad results.
The reason i was so angry was that i called 2 times on river when flush came in and they always have it!
I wanted to make good folds since this is one of my leak.
And then i tilted very bad and unleashed aggression. I played so aggressive that i crushed everything and everyone.
Should have recorded this last session.
Made c-bets like a godzila. Big and strong and it worked. Ended with 9 as 3bet%.
I think my game is now at a hole new level. I am expecting to crush next days.

good question
I think we should play in games that we can win. I am playing NL10 6max regular tables, not zoom.
I got a bit scared when i lost 16 buyins at nl10 last week.
The reason was that my bankroll is not big enough to take multiple swings.
I am not backing down in limits and if i go broke i am forced to buy more chips and try again.
I will finish the challenge at NL10. If i can do it then NL25 should be peace of cake.
Now my game seems very strong and if i continue in this way then +13bb/100 hands will be a peace of cake at nl10.

Another note is that if i win 17bb/100hands at NL5 then i win 0.85$/100h at nl5.
If i play 30.000hands/month at nl5 then i win =255$
if i beat NL25 by 3bbs/100h then i win 0.75$/100h at nl25
If i play 30.000hands/month at nl25 then i win =225$
Another aspect is that if somehow i end up having a huge downswing , in this case i lose a lot less at the lower limit.

you really have to use HM2 or PT4 and observe these things and choose your limit according to what you want to achieve

In this hand double2 says that my raise is bad

But if i were villain with KK ... he says that his cbet is bad

I always do this if i were villain with KK so he says it is a leak in my game that has to be fixed!
WHOOOT ?!???:f_cry:

i should post hands and ask if i should cbet or not!

Cbet size factors:
1)-Cbet smaller when we have weak hand, Cbet bigger when we have strong hand
2)-the more dry the board the smaller you can bet
-if the board is dry and you have a good hand you still want to bet big
-how often does he hit the board , how often does he miss it?
3)if villain folds alot we can make bet size smaller like 65% pot
if he calls alot we should make it larger for value like 90% pot

When to not Cbet flop:
1)cbet less often when we have a weak hand, especially when oop
2)Cbet less often when board hits his range
3)-cbet less often when he has a low Ftcbet(<50) and a high wtsd(>25) or a calling image (high vpip ,low pfr)
-cbet less often vs strong players who are capable of exploiting your high cbet%
-by play a trapping game like slowplaying aces and they usually 3bet this hand
-by x/r more than 15%. (most players have 10% raise cbet)
-by floating or raising with position on flop or later streets

If you Cbet with KK you will donate money to Ax and probably make fold a huge part of his range(weaker hands than KK). x/call Flop x/fold T is the optimal play
On the other hand, if you raise with Ax here do you think KK will pay you? NO WAY!

Positive affirmation:

My winrate at NL10 is +13bbs/100h

New rule: When ever i am in doubt about to cbet or not ... i should choose the more conservative way=not cbet!

If you have no answer and you dont have a very strong hand then just fold preflop or do it just to test him.

4bet shove TT - hand examined by double2
(3bet pot) Should i c-bet this flop? - hand examined by double2

how are we making money by cbetting in this situation?
1- are we ahead against villain's continuing range?
2- does villain fold a bunch of combos that would have pretty good equity against our hand?
3- does this board favours our range so hard that we are able to cbet 100% of the time?
