By `unknown` we can make a gutsy guessing that 80% of the time the villain is a fish and the 20% is a reg.
vs fish, Idon`t know if this play is + EV considering that in order your move to be succesfull you have to play vs a decent thinking player. Not sure how many folds u can get by taking this line vs a fish so that it can be profitable. ( not mentioning that at +4 tables it really takes a little bit more focusing, that u can easily replace with one more table)

Not sure if I have clearly put my thinking on the paper(I need to work on that) but hopefully u got the ideea

Ok, so for me an unk is around 95% a recreational player (huge volume = i know most of regs), only different case is new regs or upmovers from lower stakes.
I would never make this move with this sizing against a competent player. It just gives too good odds, i would sometimes jam it as a bluff here.

The reason why its imo a good play vs fish is that he is dividing his range there much more than a regular player ( rec. player will use push for nuts and bluff, and small bet for bluffs, medium showdown value and small part of nuts, reg will much less often have a sizing tell here)

which gives us a range most often composed of bluffs, weak pairs and small part of nuts - my raise needs to work 30% of time, rough estimate against a fish that doesn't think much about consequences of sizings would be around 50-60% feq probably more as nuts bet this way show up relatively rarely.

In regards to balance - if you think one line is max ev take that line. the notion of balancing is used for lines that have the same EV, meaning your opponent has to be balanced as well to create a situation where bet/check has same ev. If you ever have a spot where you think "fuck if I raise the guy is gonna fold so often, but i need to be BALANCED so i better fold" its just giving excuses not to pull the trigger

If you think of balance as putting correct amount of bluff/value combos into a range it also doesn't make much sense vs fish, as they are not playing with you long enough to ever notice, note it , exploit it, they don't even know how nor think about it. in that given spot i will be checking a lot of nuts so my XR range will be balanced but xr range with this sizing completely not, you can play a lot with sizings and it changes the ev drastically as their ranges are very often static, more static than reg ranges.

(turn could be argued to be better folded but this is not the point)

dont castrate your game with balance issues, stay ballsy and make those plays when it makes sense! its a great way to stay interested in this game while playing so much

Yeah haha twitch could be awesome, was thinking about it but as it is nowadays it would be impossible to have any kind of interaction with viewers (even with 15 delay) as I multitable too much. Maaaybe when they introduce higher stakes or in december after I finish SNE.

Uuugh what a sess, 303 games at -3,5 ev roi, most of the time bet/fold was the line with a few spazzes, couldnt get momentum - not a nice feeling sitting there and trying to play solid ♦ with very little room to get frisky.

Beside few pots and the fact i did get bored I couldnt get into zone much, obsessing more about how i run than how to max the ev - something I have to work on, to be playing more often A/B game while doomswitch than B/C as volume has to be made. Because the run is an illusion. There is no run. There is no spoon.

Okay! time to wrap it up even thou I kinda feel like pushing a bit more but tmrw training with Bakudranski so better stay fresh ♦ today whooping 374 games (new personal volume best i think) GEEZUZ really happy with my play today, played very focused and aware most of the time, lost my nerve couple of times during first 200 games but didnt spazz a lot (more than usually xd) last 170 games where just smooth. First 200 games had similar run to the one yesterday but Ive managed it way better. Ev roi 1,7%.

I have finished Thursdays session around 6am and was not sleepy so quick coffee and VAMOOSS NEXT 303 games ♦ also wanted to start weekend asap, now quick nap, dinner and drinks to follow.
