So still haven't been to sleep since finishing work at half one this morning, off for the next three days so want to get in to a normal sleeping pattern if possible.

Too tired to play PLO but what is really good at the minute are the micro millions satelites, 10bb is fine to auto-pilot in the 6-max hyper satelites. Doing well in them, PT4 tracks them incrorrectly though as it ignores earning T money.

Treating T money as US Dollars which is close enough my roll is now $193 and I shall smash a few more of them soon.

Poker Progress - Satelites
Playing these and in profit for the session, they're real straight forward to play and the flat structure just means you tighten up a bit. PT4 is not tracking the results as it assumes all prizes won were 0 where I am actually winning in these haha.

I'm actually winning in these haha, honest. :truestory:

So I played 157 satelites tonight and for the last 50 hit a huge down swing which was way under EV #sigh :why: I now have a feeling of the swings in hypers and I only played a handfull. Peaked at $200 BR, downswing and I am down to $173.

What a hand! I mean 60% is not much, but both timte against a FH without the 3 of heart? THis is hard!

I hope ypur mental game is hard enough. DId that hand stopped you from playing your A-game?

Most recently I am becoming much better at handling beats like that, at the start of the challenge I would start drinking and tilt haha. Now I am very much dis-associated with the money and focus on the play. It hurts to run below ev but I accept it and focus on my play.

I did move to playing satelites but that was purely because of how tired I was.

General Ramblings
So I did a stupid thing last night and subscribed to a month of SessionLord, a sit n go registration app which is meant to be amazing, similar to SharkyStrator but it does not work with my version of pokerstars and I do not know how to downgrade the stars program. Ay'aaaa, waste of a subscription then.

The profit is some what a little skewed due to the problem that PT4 doesn't count T money to profits as previously mentioned. I played a few 6-Max $1.50 hypers, they're really soft and blind on blind as well as all in calls by position are very crucial to get correct but I feel like I have a good understanding.

6-Max Hypers played: 24
Profit: $24.48

These are very frustrating games to play but the greater volume you put in the better you take the beats, AA < K2o SB vs. BB is just annoying.

Bankroll: $193.18

You need to search a little with the help of google, but with a little bit afford, you can find hwo to downgrade. ;)
I like your approach how to use different Formats and Games of Poker to train your softskills and develope new ones.
I liked the fact that I learned through PLO to have a better range.thinking in NLHE.

Have to go with this hand once I three-bet out of the blinds, can't be investing 20bb and folding really to a 4-bet. Fair to say after this hand everyone was marked as 'fish'

Great session today, deep ante is where the best play is at! I ran great against one opponent who I think paid me off because he leveled himself a couple of times haha. This started it off

Then there was this hand too, I have started allowing people to bluff when villain has position on me when I house up, I will do it with premium as well as drawing hands in order to get more respect for my checks and possibly get there with marginal hands on river more often.

On that I hand I was really unsure as to whether or not bet bet or check raise river was my best option. I went with raise river as it leaves more bluffs in but against such a passive opponent I am not sure if bet bet is more profitable and whether I could have got more on the river with the raise is questionable too.

I also played a satelite for the Hot $5.50 today and made the prizes, only problem was the tournament had started so I couldn't unreg and take the money. This Multi-Table satelite must have been the softest game i have ever played. I was chip leader with 84 left and 22 getting paid from 220 entries. I sat out and went to play squash, very comfortable satelite haha.

I think you got max Value, when you said he is passiv. But since bets 50% and calls your rais. There might be a good chance that by just potting he even then cannot let go.

When fish just run like god:

At least I am in profit and enjoying myself if not a little frustrated. I am 4-betting wider in deep ante too against people 3-betting 15% and up which is working well being OOP. IP I may flat and float but OOP 4-bet, c-bet is working well.

Ran a good bluff against a poor reg however, I am not sure I left enough behind for a well constructed bluff on the river, villain is getting 3:1, if he folds a set of 5's here that must be excellent for me. But I felt I could exploit him as he is capable of fold as opposed to someone who is 80/30/1 and goes to showdown 70% of the time.

Considering 3-bet pots vs nits at my tables, mainly focusing on people who are 3-betting 0-5% I am floating IP or re-raising wet boards which AAxx have poor visibility. These are general nit regs who have stats similar to 20/15/3. Something like that anyways. Attacking boards such as 5♦:7♦:8♥: or 8♣:9♥:J♠: it is of course action dependent but I am having success with it so far.

Not going to post session results just yet, just going to show you the graph for the session, see how frustrating it is. This doesn't include mobile hands today where I was 1 outed twice, quads over nut house both times! Ran extremely bad today and it has got to me.

General Ramblings
The deep ante tables were full of stations tonight so instantly I thought profit. I tightened up and ensured I was pot pot potting them to hell. The issue was lots of pots were 3-way with opponents having 80/7/1 stats over 200 hands etc. In general I waited for value hands IP, 3-bet pre, continued on dry boards mostly, checked back wet boards where my premium holdings would generally be weak(er). The issue was the fish just hit everything this session, it is my first serious down swing relative to my bankroll and it has really annoyed me. I wasn't on tilt but when stations call with bottom two pair on 6♣:4♦:A♦:Q♥:T♥: board it is a little frustrating!

When Stations get there and you're getting 3:1 on your money on the river but you know your dead

One outers hurt the most, fish going all in as 60/40 dogs to me on numerous occasions today and I felt like I wasn't winning a single one, and of course they don't run it twice because Variance is their middle name!

I am considering applying for staking in order to grind PLO10 and PLO25 sooner, I currently have a lot of overheads so a staking aggreement would give me more financial freedom to play higher stakes and win. If anyone is aware of any stakers for Omaha please let me know.

Your EV-line dosn't look so well. It could either be a downer or you are playing to loose against fishes who say they have it.

Yeah this seems standard. The best thing is when have enough of your raises and beginn to play back and u gladly have a hand this time. :f_love:
