I want to reach out to as many people as possible with my content, so that's a massive boost - teddy thanks a lot if u're behind this. Getting recognition motivates me to push even more - both in grinding and content creation, which is awesome.
Weekly Recap
This week was kinda average, the main thing is that I fell off my structured days. Most of this is due to bad sleeping schedule - It's crazy how much that can affect me. I would usually wake up at around 3PM already feeling bad because half a day is lost. So basically lost focus for the rest of the day. Clear lesson to start going to bed early again - max 1-2AM! If I just grind till the morning, my whole momentum for the rest of my life will get fucked and I will get pretty unhappy.
On the girl aspect, I saw my girlfriend more than I should of - not being on my purpose, I allowed her to take more time than necessary. Getting to a point of seeing her even though I do not want to cannot be a good thing. My inability to say NO is definitely a big leak of mine which considerably slows my progress towards my dreams.
Poker - It's been the third consecutive losing week and it's no longer funny. It's really getting awkward and emabarassing tbh. It is more than obvious that I have to start putting in massive time in improving. I did acknowledge this for a while but didn't take consistent action on it. I know what there is to be done. If I still don't do it, it may be that I'm just stupid. Saw an annoying guy talking on youtube about the importance of producing results (thanks adam). Gotta produce results, bro.
Other than that, writing this triggered me having another one of dem oldschool finding myself sessions where I really take perspective over my life, delve into higher consciousness and sort some inner issues that have been in the back of my mind.
Producing a Mission statement for the week to read every day when I wake up to help me refocus.
1. Keep full focus on Poker
2. Go to sleep max 2 AM
3. Keep away from stuff/people that want to slow you down
On the upside, even tho spending two days on grinding live, still managed to surpass my weekly hands goal.
Weekly BR Challenge Report Played Hands: 15.443 (goal 14k) Results: -$748 (live+online) Current BR: $6385 4 weeks
How's the schedule working out for ya btw? I find that I have mood for poker in different times and having a rigid schedule would force me into playing when I don't want to/don't focus optimally?
Oh and I see your pickup post from 19.4, let's review. I realized I sucked with girls and spent loads of hours on this this year ♦
I go out with my roommate to meet up with 2 others (1 friend and a new guy) – they are all into picking up girls. On our way I find a retarded sword made out of balloons and take it with me – swag timez...
my friend points me to a cute girl that just passed by
I find it best for sake of social practice to go out on your own - basically the more uncomfortable feeling you have the more progress you are making, in anything really, and a friend feels like a crutch. Also them pointing out girls is meh, just going to ones you find attractive personally without their opinion is best imo.
It's way better for poker also - you can go out, have a goal of approaching 10 or 20 strangers, and when you're done, just leave. Which is really hard with a friend.
That way it's completely fine to fit in your poker schedule - it just takes a couple hours per week really.
I felt I was grinding too much one day, so I just went up, went to town to a club, sober, and 2 hours later I'm home having spoken to people non-stop. And reading this you reminded me I should do this more.
All the while I still have my sword and just stroll around the city with it, ppl watching and laughing. After 10mins I find my friends, the foreign guy is leaving. We hang around have some fun and two cute girls walk by. Me and my flat mate (he is pretty good at this) go after them, leaving the other friend behind. He starts chatting up the cute blondie and I start spitting random sh1t at the other one – she’s brunette, has sunglasses on, tattoos and pierces – pretty hardcore. She seems standoffish, gives me shit for my balloon sword telling me I’m weird, I don’t care that much, I tell her it’s ok I’m kinda weird, just follow her and speak whatever comes to my mind, while my friend talks to the other one. Mine is apparently 25. After some following around, they open up a bit, my girl asks me how old I am, we end up going to a park, looks like they are going for a drink and me and my friend consider ourselves invited lol.
We keep walking with them, go into a shop for one of them to get cigarretes. At this point I am still expecting them to just walk away lol.
Eventually we go back into the park and stop at a terrace for a drink – adventure timez. They both order wine – me and my friend don’t really drink, think about getting lemonades. I have to meet a business partner of my mom’s to give some stuff in 30 mins (20min walk to there), so there’s also this time pressure.
Eventually I’m like “fuck it, yolo” and tell my friend let’s get wine as well. He agrees, we all drink, they eventually get relaxed and have some fun timez. The blonde one is getting called on the phone by her boyfriend, lol timez, she will leave to meet him in 20mins. The brunette one knows I’m 26, but I convince her friend I’m 18 years old, pretty easily. They eventually add us on facebook, I’m like ‘we should go out again sometime, it was fun’
You'd probably had more fun if you cut the time you spend with girls that aren't that into you - it's always more fun getting people that try themselves. When a girl gives you bad look, doesn't hold eye contact, doesn't seem into you - not saying a word, turning around and walking away is really powerful I find. You ALWAYS meet someone who's fun and is into you as well.
And it's always better to lead, offer places to go than randomly follow chicks to where they're going seems a big creepy lol. Basically allowing girls to reject you fast by being direct and leading is virtually always the best approach - the concept being "polarizing" you state what you want, you are your authentic direct self right off the bat, that way you end up with a lot less people, but the people you are with are people that really like you instead of spending (wasting) time with lots of people with mediocre attraction.
EDIT: Translated in poker terms. It's like when you get to the river. In terms of relationships it's better to overbet and have nuts or air in your range, as opposed to spending time with loads of thin valuebets you are unsure about if they're good in the first place.
I like the people watching concept though - going in with the mindset of no goals, something will always turn up and looking for opportunities, I meet the most people that way (along with pre-prepared lines ofc if things get stale ;p)
Tinder's a waste of time imo once you have the balls to approach. And It's bad for poker.
Walk a bit around my place, while I’m debating bringing her up. At one point she’s like ok, I gotta go. I’m fck it, yolo, swag, 420blazeit, just exercise the skill of bringing a new girl up to my place so I go like ‘let’s hang out for a bit more, come up to my place, we’ll get some tea (strong line)’. She’s like ok, but I won’t stay for long. Comes up, chill for a while, fun times.
Haha, I guess this was fun, I can see why you spend loads of time with chicks - your approach must be really time consuming tho, you seem to have a way to go with closing/being direct. Also you definitely should have closed when she was at your place? She was obviously into you.
Yeah for me seeing her 1x per week where only contact over the phone/message is to set up a (really good, long) date that you put effort into works really well, even with a girl I'm so into that I don't really want to date others and want her long term seems to work out well.
So yeah, if you'd be more direct/authentic going faster after what you want I think you could definitely manage to have poker/streaming and entertain us with girl exploits too

Yo yo, RSD represeeent! Haha, how are the girls in Ploiesti man? Tbh I am not really impressed with the quality there lol, although maybe small sample size.
@Exnp100, HomsiiSorry for the stream guys, I have been only playing regular tables sessions this week, so that's why I couldn't stream. But since you are so awesome to say you miss the streams, I will be back streaming some NL50 zoom sessions of desire. I considered I don't have much of a following, looks like I was wrong.
And now for the king of replies, sir LemOn36 - appreciate your indepth session analysis haha, talking about one of my main passions. First of all, props for taking action in this area, a lot of guys avoid going so head on with it. I have been around the pick-up community (mainly RSD) and talking to girls for @7 years and I can resonate with the phase you are in, so 'sko (let's go)
How's the schedule working out for ya btw? I find that I have mood for poker in different times and having a rigid schedule would force me into playing when I don't want to/don't focus optimally?
For me it's not about the emotions/mood anymore, my emotions/mind wouldn't like me to grind 90% of the time, but that's what I decided has to be done. If I'm too tired, I will study or take a nap so I can play. Schedule wise, I always try to start the day with Poker (study or play) and grind it out throughout the day, taking breaks to nap / eat / exercise.

You have a completely different approach than mine in this area. You are way more analytical about this, maybe it's better if you want to improve (I was like this also for a long time). You are supposing my focus is getting better with girls. Actually, it is to have as much fun as possible and unwind from poker. If I wanted to improve at this area I would do things differently.
Having strict goals can end up you putting pressure on yourself / having a bad mood. I've been there.
You'd probably had more fun if you cut the time you spend with girls that aren't that into you - it's always more fun getting people that try themselves. I think it's completely normal for a girl to appear to not be into you at first. You are a stranger, her being defensive is completely natural. She doesn't know how cool you are. Besides, it's more of a challenge/fun to turn a girl from being very skeptical to really liking you. Most of the signs you describe is a girl that is shy and insecure, not a girl who doesn't like you.
I agree with the rest of the stuff. Tinder is just fun for trolling girls and going on insta adventures from the comfort of ur home, but agree it shouldn't be the main part of one's game. Btw srong poker analogy lol, agree.

Also focusing on the girl aspect takes a lot from me - keeping it on the low till I consider I can give more time to that area.
Thank you for the indepth reply, let me know if you want me to expand on certain points / how you feel about them.
Wooh that was long winded, really enjoy interacting with you brahs, doesn't feel like I'm alone on this blog lol #powerhousealliance
Week Review
Ok playazzz what's been happening? Hope it's all good! Sorry for the offline period, been focusing on the grind hardcore. Let's go with weekly review
This sunday I really took the day off, chillin' at the pool, going on a quick tinder date in my hometown, watching some naruto (lol), after really grindin' for the past couple of days.
This week I started evaluating my poker differently, based on 3 main criterias: volume, quality, study. I fill up a sheet - here it is
Spoiler
Still trying to figure out the Total section - I want to make some kind of formula for the 3 criterias (don't think they are equally as important) and actually make a total for the week.
I also restarted doing meditation everyday before I go to bed, not being to keep up 20mins all the time (sometimes really tired), but less is better than nothing. Plus, it makes me feel good having a certain consistency in different areas.
I struggled to not end up in the negative for the 4th week in a row, so here is the current BR challenge for the week.
Spoiler
played mostly NL100 reg tables, a bit of NL50zoom.
Weekly BR Challenge Report Played Hands: 14150 (goal 14k) Results: +$87 Current BR: $6472 5 weeks
Well that's it for now, will be busy going back to poker, will do a bit of livestreaming haha. So as I said I ventured in the Tinder streets a bit last night, being in my hometown (currently visiting my family) went out with a girl, good times. Today she is asking me to go out with her and some of her friends, may do that to get a break from poker, will see how it goes.

The girls are kinda missing, because most of the time the city is empty. Only the nightlife is the way to go
I will come to Julien World Tour in October and, until then, try to pimp also in the big Capital.

Yeah the Julien event should be sick haha, feel free to add me on FB (Daniel Force), we can stay in touch.
Ok guys, so today has been a looong day of exploring off the tables stuff. I will touch on some of the main lessons.
1. CBet more on boards where you have range advantage. Eg on A63s board in a 3b Pot, the preflop aggressor makes the most money when he cBets 100% than other freq. 2. Try to study areas that will improve your game the most/ are most relevant. Some people can spend a lot of time studying stuff they will not apply very often. It's a reminder to me to not diverge too much on theory / math stuff and stick to practical stuff as much as possible. For example today I spent a lot of time trying to understand some GTO EV calculation, whereas I could have worked on my preflop game / postflop spots. 3. Flop bluffing freq as PF Aggressor - You can have considerably more bluff combo's than value combo's on the flop when you barrel since
a. Your opponent will fold a part of his range on each subsequent street
b. You will stop bluffing with a part of your bluffing range on subsequent streets, so u can get left with a good value/bluff ratio on the river
c. bluffing with hands that can also improve (aka with equity) means you can add even more bluffs 4. vBlog-wise - be more authentic. Got some feedback from one of my poker friends, telling me my youtube vids look too fake, I seem to self conscious in how I speak/act. He suggested me being as real as possible, because I'm not some random weird guy that has to put up a front, but I'm actually a cool dude so I don't have to put on an act. Pretty interesting to think about, I do feel like I'm a bit guarded / too self conscious in my vids and will strive to improve on that area as well. 5. Having as little external influences as possible is best for remaining focused. I spent the past week in my hometown with my family. Today I wanted to start focusing on poker at the beginning of the day. I had to help my mom with something. I had to help my dad with something. My brother as well. It dawned on me that maybe being at home is not the GTO approach of focusing on my path.
Currently reading Power vs Force, pretty sick book.

I decided it was best to break up with my 7 month girlfriend tonight, it was really painful for both.
Aesthetics wise - well I'm still shredded but feel like I regressed the last few months.
I now feel like my life is stripped down to bare bones. All excess is gone.
At the start of a relationship make sure you are honest and make things clear what to expect from each other.
Both of you will be more happy if you agree to fuck other people if that is what you want, she might like the idea.
SUFFERING from the breakup i dont get it... are you looking for serious relationship or for YOLO?
About your poker downswing, i had a similar downswing because i played too much and did not have a clue where i was going, what i was improving on.
At tables i began to not distinguish obvious plays(it was a form of tilt).
double2 says that whenever we are not playing our A game , we are on tilt. (at least one kind of tilt)
When having trouble in a long-term relationship it's a really good idea to take a break from playing poker imho. Most of my downswings came around breakups or other emotionally distressing events.
The breakup was a big step forward. It was obviously holding you back and supporting a scarce mentality.
I did the same thing a few years back and had a 6 year ass tappin' devastation! It was a huge milestone for me.
About your downswing, get a copy of Jared Tendler's The Mental Game Of Poker and start USING it. Not reading, browsing or using it as entertainment. Use it as a WORKBOOK. Keep identifying your types of tilt or any other issue and keep working on them constantly! I think this is what your game is lacking the most.
Wow, sounds cheesy but I am really grateful for all the love guys It definitely adds motivation seeing the support
Let's jump right into the action

PS:for me this music works
Yeah can pretty much resonate with the tilt part. Will check the double2 video, while I still have gold status, my problem does indeed seem on the mental game. The beta waves video seems solid, will try it out so do you just put it on while sleeping? Do you put it on speakers or headphones (seems uncomfortable).
Yeah I didn't expect the breakup thing was going to get that much attention lol. First of all, regarding girls - although it may seem like it from some of my posts, I do not consider myself a player. I actually get more enjoyment from quality connections with fewer girls than smashin' as many of them as possible. My flatmate is like that and I'm not saying it's either good or bad. That said it's a weird combination because I also like being free to do what I want.
The breakup was painful because she really wanted to make it work and cared about me and my response was to break up with her - which felt so bad, i really do not like hurting people who don't deserve it. That said, she kept pushing her equity and decided will have another go this time her taking a lot less of my time, so I can focus on poker more. Not sure if the best decision, will see.

Good luck! Hey mr Peleg, appreciate you dropping by. I agree that emotionally intense events can have a real impact on one's game, more than one would like to admit lol. Unfortunately, I don't have the 'luxury' to take a break from poker right now, although I do agree that it might be best.

If you want to discuss further get in touch!
Yeah that's how breaking up felt (step forward) since I sacrificed that for me to get further in life. As I said though, gf was really taking it hard so I let myself be influenced into trying once more.. In a way, it doesn't really feel right but we'll see where this goes.
What's an ass tappin' devastation, sir? hahah
It's so weird that I already started diving into my mental game before I read your post, definitely agree on the need to focus on that. Actually rediscovering how key that book is. Added you on community, message me ur skype.
Tilt?
It's so unexpected, but the main realization has been that indeed, the main problem for losing so consistently was coming from something getting fked in my mental game. I really haven't looked there - always considered myself strong mentally so it got to be a blindspot.
Not really sure, but it seems like the main issue was that my mind turned blank in some spots and I played irrationally but never even realizing it.
Also losing for so many months in a row it got me to where I couldn't take it anymore and unconsciously I would try to fight for too many pots. There were other factors like added pressure, etc which basically made it a downwards spiral for me. Playing based of emotions instead of logic without noticing.
Being more present, playing fewer tables and really stopping to analyze my thought process in some spots really helped on noticing some very weird mental leaks - where previously I would quickly rationalize the spot as 'bad luck' and had to quickly go to the next decision.
A very good post I identified with a lot, where I think is my biggest mental leak.
So what you need to redefine what is losing and what is winning. Ego is dumb and thinks that winning or losing a pot equates to "winning" or "losing" respectively. You need to teach your ego that winning = making the best play/decision while losing = not making the best play/decision. That way when you fold and it's the best decision your ego can feel like it won and it will actually be helping you fold when you need to rather than trying to make you call.
Supernova
Since my BR is so low right now, I am going for finishing supernova THIS month so I can cash out the FPP's - it's gonna be a challenge since I am commited to play max 6 reg tables or 2 zoom tables (max 3) and I will be playing NL50.

Life GTO Found this story from a poker video (lol) and I found it really powerful, I think it concerns a misconception many people have, I definitely have it. Will def put more thought into it to see what's my Top5 and go from there. Mainly it comes down to sacrificing things u would like to do for those things that you would LOVE to do.
Also, as a fun sidenote, look out for the term betsthetics (betting aesthetics), you may start to learn about it soon lol.
If you are honest and clear with your girlfriend, then no one feels hurt.
If you want a good relationship you must put it on 1st priority and let her know she is first priority.
This is very important because in time you will find other temporar priorities like poker and poker and girlfriend switch places many times.
The idea behind it is ... how can i explain, check out this graph:
Women relationship
You notice when things get down or close to breakeven (with girls) , then it is time to put relationships on first place.
Letting her know that she is most important and showing you are capable to let everything else on second place...
i hope you can visualise how can this affect her , in a very strong way!
Next, imagine her putting the relationship on first place. She has to have some goals too , otherwise she will be too needy and too dependant on you. Make sure she has some things on mind, anything that is "building" (learning, growing, etc)
OK, enough theory, gl
@bonecore you're talking about GTO, but real life is much more exploitable imo

Let's get on with the update, except this time I have a little surprise. Figured I'd balance my content range and record a new vid for you guys (and girls more recently). Some quick updates for the first part and the second part I explore the topic of being selfish and my view on it.
Notice I speak in a softer voice since flatmate was sleeping lol.
I can't keep a vid shorter than 7mins to save my life lol.
Also, gym has been going well lately - as mentioned, here is a vid of my current form (not even my final one)

Started 2 tabling 100z again - full focus. Have to finish SuperNova this month, 6.2k VPP's to go.
I was up 1k for the week, was done playing, preparing to go to bed, but then a friend on Skype that plays 200z tells me there is a very good game there (the best there ever was) - So I'm like ok, I'm up for the week anyway, let's shoot for 1.5BI's. 5mins later I'm down $400 in 2 pots, go to sleep crying.
There was a lesson there - started thinking more and more about the emotional EV of decisions, where if I put a big risk, losing will be very painful and not worth it.
Now I'm even more into respecting my BRM and will play 200z when I deserve (worked for) it.
Let me know what you think about the vids, have you ever felt guilty about focusing on yourself? What's your take on that?
fml, another one of those posts where I put work in and expect feedback but get none lol
anyways, I was watching this vid after grinding 100z for 8h today and I had an interesting thought u guys could benefit from as well
Choosing Adventure
Basically, my rationalization is that I want to do 'the fun stuff' when I get in a better spot with finances. But I can still do loads of fun/adventure stuff now as well, just by choosing to! You don't necessarily need that much money. I'm young, life's awesome, why not?
I mean I take time off from the grind anyway (not much but I do) - why not make it 'epic time off from the grind'? It would tie in with my Adventure goals for the next years and will provide extra motivation for the grind - seeing how much cool stuff you can do with your free time!
The thing is, it has to come by conscious choice and being proactive! It will not happen on its own, the mind will resist new/uncomfortable things, will always choose the safe/predictable route when left on autopilot, that's our nature.
Not asking for feedback on this one, u cheeky readers, you.
Rushed Supernova ahead of schedule. Played for 11,5hrs in the last sessh. Instead of going to sleep, I went to play some foot tennis with friends to celebrate. Ended up skipping a night of sleep. Pushing body's limits. Life's great
Also, been winning consistently over the last few weeks - may be variance, but also feel I've been improving a bit.
Weekly BR Challenge Report Played Hands: 18.414 Results: $487 Current BR: $6278 10 weeks
Also getting @ ~$4k from Supernova bonus, tho will have quite a few expenses over the next period, but will try to keep as much as possible back in my BR. Have to relocate over the next period so I don't know where that's going to take me, pretty much open to any possibility right now - especially because poker legislation in Romania is a bit uncertain right now.
Battlin' through the 100z streets everyday. Thinking about improvement more and more, have a lot of areas to work on, which is exciting. Have around 4 guys I talk to who are better than me, which is pretty cool.
Will take some days off to enjoy the last few days of summer, enjoy!
