Its been a long way here( this thread i mean) beautiful, full of emotion, full of ups and downs, just like poker!
I m not a good player, i am actually just starting but from what i ve read so far about your challenge and your life is that is really full!!! And i mean full time!!!!
You basically have tine for nothing... In my opinion, i ask you not to get angry or anything but through what i ve read from other trainers , this site , other sites, you can t do everything...(unfortunately). Even your videos you seem sad and real tired, i think you ve got it in you to become a great player but i think you ve got to much on the plate to handle! Poker is a very demanding game but i don t need to tell you that and i don t think you can have a regular job and play poker for a long time... It s just not possible!!!
One of the trainers i ve worked with once told me , don t start poker as a means to make an easy living started because of your love for it, otherwise stay to you day to day job..... Learning should be half of your time and playing poker ( table selecting , fish finding your other). Before he started making a living out of it he kept his job for a whole year and told it was the hardest period of his life and whenever he is down mentally or whatever he just remembers that.
This is one of the nicest blogs i ve read in a while and i wish you all the best and to accomplish your dream but i think you ve got to much on your plate!
As a side coment you must take care of your body, is very important! My job is a personal trainer in fitness college and everything, if you ever need help with your diet and lifestyle , nutrion advise you can add me and i will help you( free of charge of course, just because i like your determination)
Playing my hours but studying practically zero. That is hard for me but Ilidek kept trying to get me to do it and Janez told me to do it so I'm giving it my best shot!
No forum, no strategy, no nothing.
I was watching poker videos during down time at tables but for this week I just kinda look at my goals and warm-up stuff and do whatever I can to keep focussed for next villain to sit me.

Have a great day and good luck at the tables.
Thanks for the great advice amigo. Really appreciate positive comments too.
I don't think many people understand what I go through. I know I did not realise it could be so tough.
However, people have it way way tougher than me and you know, sometimes the harder the journey the greater the victory.
currently in Prague, lying in bed w my phone, just trying to kill time and not kill energy before a long session of live pokah awayting me for next couple of days. was browsing thru the eng community 1st time after a year maybe and came across ur blog. Got to read it for over 30mins, very exciting actually and surprised how u keep on going inspite of the setbacks. Genuinely hats off man! U re a work ethic inspiration.
I was just wondering: it seems like u put it so much into this while not having the desired results for soo long. I mean too long even? I, by all means, look up to the discipline and passion u give into this, but as a family man and a 2child farher soon (2nd coming in 1month) icannot help to ask myself what u could have become if u ve taken on some other challenge than poker in which u find passion and can devote to, which might be perhaps less stressful and more rewarding.
I hope i dont discourage u from ur ways tho. It seems like u have been blessed w a very solid mindset + group of ppl/family around u to be succesful in life. Just: the golden days of poker are far over now, even the forum as u can ser is pretty much dead, way less supportive as back in the days when i was starting fe. the conditions to make good money from scratch from poker are extremely difficult now. Not saying impossible, but.. weigh it up man, so that u dont blow ur chances in some other industry which might be booming around thr corner.

Holy hell. I am running so bad its making me feel sick! It has been going on for quite a while now too.
Don't get me wrong I obviously still have leaks but I really feel like I play pretty solid now and coaching this week we did leak finder and really only came up with one small thing which was a spur of the moment error and not a constant leak.
For the first time ever I am anxious to even open tables up.
Every now and then I get a negative thought pop into my head about how I am going to "make it" and fortunately I am able to push them away super quick.
This is all a great test of my resolve and I am certainly learning a lot about myself here. I guess I can be happy with myself for keeping going because (although I am not too sure about this) I think a lot if not most people would have given up a long time ago!
I have booked a week vacation for beginning of September. Difficult to explain how much I need that right now but during this bad run I can assure you it cannot come quickly enough. I hardly took a full day off since we began 9+ months ago!

Hi TLN. Really appreciate the post and the kind words/comments you included there.
For sure you are right about the "too long" bit. I cannot put into words how disappointed I am with my lack of progress and results.
I think above I have alluded to my current state of mind and your words certainly don't discourage me so no worries there.
I still have 100% faith in BPC and I believe in myself enough to keep putting the hours in and do as I am instructed.
I guess on the other hand this cannot go on forever. One day there will have to be a time where I sit down with my family and say you know, thanks for the support but it looks like it is not going to be for me/us. As you can imagine, my wife and I are not spending much time together over the last 9 months (remember I work full-time in long hours too).
But.
That time is not anywhere close yet. My results suck but I really feel if I ran anything like normal I would be winning pretty good at NL50 and would be moving up by now.
So, we move on.
Let's go!
P.S. I am gonna quote yr post in my other blogs... I hope you don't mind Sir?
Hi Mate, Just gave you a thumbs up to make up for 1 of those thumbs down bums! I saw this today and thought it really relates to poker players! Hang in there!

Wow! You are now winning my "favourite reply ever" competition.
Really appreciate that sir, brought a massive smile to my face.
Just had another 3 losing days and looks like July will be another losing month.
Took a day off yesterday. Wife had wisdom tooth out so was out of action so I took the kids out for the day.
Kind of hit me hard that the reason I am doing this is to get out of my job and get more time with my kids but we are 9 months down the line and I am making less than I did in the first month.
Really enjoyed my day with the kids and I need to take a good look and think about if I need to keep pushing on or take my time with them now. It's not really a question right now but its coming to my mind a lot more now as I am feeling a bit helpless.
Today I am going to take a good look at what I was doing in the month I made 1k and go back to doing those things for a while.
We are getting coached by different guys each week lately and I am not sure how that is working out for me. Can't be any worse I guess but all 3 I had so far had quite different perspectives on my play/game/state which is a little confusing!
Ok, need to fire myself up and get to it!!!! GL everyone!
Ok... Just looked back at blog/emails/note book etc... (it is called desperation I believe)
During the short period where I made good money (of course I know good variance had a BIG/MASSIVE/GINORMOUS part in that) I was posting written equities daily (like FD v set on turn = XX%), I was doing some Equilab equities and I was also going through old HH's that Gordon, jurassic daniel and Ilidek have commented on and comparing my answers to theirs.
I was also sending an email each day to Ilidek with my work included in it.
On May 8th I started doing those things and on June 5th I stopped.
From May 13th to June 5th I made $1105.
My profit for the other 264 days at CFP is $26.
No prizes for guessing what 'I am going to be doing for next few weeks???
Unfortunately it means BPC blog is gonna get seriously spammed as I think Ilidek got bored of my emails!
You can do it bud! Clear the decks as much as you can for August (difficult I know!), tell the missus what yer doing so that aint at the back of yer mind, get yer treats with the kids, curry out etc planned so you got that to look forward to each week, then get that feeling back when you first started this 9 months ago. Give yourself a real chance for the next few weeks, then what will be will be. At least you'll have a clear month to look at and make some clear decisions on yer week off.
If you're not tilting and playing well, then it's just some major f#cking variance, nothing you can do! (well, maybe cry a little hehe).
Oh yeah, there's always the horses to bet on in September Drunken gambling ftw!
Tough but I am working harder again and trying my best.

Great post, really appreciate the support mate, thank you. The day at the horses cannot come soon enough to be honest (and holiday week before too). August we go for 1.5k profits ok?

Yh have been doing it (all in BPC blog not fair to spam in here). Kinda resent being called lazy but thanks for posting.
Had 3 coaching sessions. First one found couple of errors where I did not value bet big enough in one hand and called too light once on the river. Not much more and advised to cut down on doing too much stuff and just play. Other two said I am playing solid and it’s just matter of time for results to follow. All three coaches making 10k months (actually maybe 2/3).
Yh it feels like I run really bad but I cannot blame that. I am working hard again and am confident I am working on good things again.
Sit down tonight to start my August and yh it feels like I run totally chit again...
Let's take a look, I have no idea right now as I am so tired its incredible. I just shut tables down in session as I don't have mental energy to carry on through this chit. (Was month end at work today and left home this morning 0715 and got back 2045 so yh, bit knackered)...
This is ok? Pick up a crappy gutter but flush card good for folds. I am basically trying to fold out 5x and Ace high here. It didn't work
==================================
Just thought I would show what a typical session looks like for me last two months
So yeah I am gonna kick the living chit out of August work wise but I got tonnes on at work as lots of vacations to cover etc. Gonna carry on playing same and working same on equities etc, then I got holiday 29th August then will come back and put some 5k months in because yh. F U!!!!!!!!!
======================================
This is just the nuts....
=====================================
Have a great August everyone and thx for keeping supporting me - I promise to reward your patience one day
