finally got my setup done, second monitor plugged and everything running smoothly. so here is a pic (octopus for scale obv :D )

Poker wise you can see the graph since I started this blog on the right monitor: having a break evenish stretch and not super motivated to play lately, so been mostly going out for drinks, clubbing etc or playing video games when at home.
then I decided to play some hu today! mostly vs regs, started right away getting crushed by the poker gods, then felt like I wasen't playing all that good, so I decided to just quit, depressing graph below:

for the next few days I'm going to try and play around 4 hours a day, will update if something interesting comes up :)

yo people, haven't posted in a long time because I'm just a lazy person haha
have been playing on 2 new sites lately, 24hpoker and a georgian site named europe bet, super soft by the way. here's my graph since I started this blog in bbs (the georgian site currency is in gel, so posting $$$ graph will mess it up):

$$$ winnings is around 7.5k pre rakeback obv, I'm getting 35% on the georgian site wich is nice since most of my volume has been there lately.
I will be posting some interesting hands when I find the time and motivation to go through my database haha

average stake is nl100.

still doing quite well, girraf since last update:

most volume is nl100 on 888 with some nl200 shots that didn't end up well (loosing like 1.5BI overall).
hoping for some good run this month, june has always been good to me :f_biggrin:

Here's an interesting hand, one big leak I had is low river aggression fq combined with a low river call efficiency (26/0.95) over a reasonable sample, missing mandatory bluffing spots like this one was costing me some $$, among other leaks obv.
so vilain is unknown, openning 70 otb over 20 hands, he's on auto top up and was sitting alone at the table so we'll go ahead and assume he is a reg. preflop and flop is standard I think, we could argue a flop check raise; at the time of the hand I somehow estimated that check raising and calling flop would have the same EV, so I went with the "meh I call". now that I think about it check raising can't be bad since we don't get 3bet that often, considering flop texture. people just 3bet so rarely on these kind of flops with their entire range; trapping with monsters since there is little need for protection, and one pair type of hands aren't just going nuts without any reads. so yeah we get to realise our equity on the turn like every single time when we check raise, and we get to cooler him more often then he does when we hit , so I think check raising could be slightly better.
he capped his range with the turn check (pure assumption obv, but we'll have to go with it) so this is one of the spots where I miss alot of $$$ while on autopilot. he bets kinda big on the river, we have no idea on his bluffing freq so we will assume he is somewhat balanced here. top of his value range is 33 that he decided to cbet flop with (he has 100 cbet 2/2 so what do we know he could have it) higher sets are not checking back that turn, A3/J3 and maybe some combos of 83 or J8 he decided to x back for some reason, he will probably have every Ax up AT, maybe some AK combos and that's it. that's roughly 125 combo, and he needs 42% on his bluffs to break even, that's like 53 bluff combos to make us indifferent (not sure about the math though, I'm not a gto guru or anythings to be clear haha).
Theory and rational thinking a part, by experience this is mostly a situation where he is going to show us Ax like always with this line and bet sizings, basically it's a "hunch" but let's call it a population read thing :f_biggrin:
on the other hand, when we check raise we have a stronger percieved value range, in the sense that he can't discount KT,T9, 88, A8,A3, 33 ( most those crush his value range) from our range even if the most standard line is to lead river. Some of those combos might not be in my range, but since we are basically unknown here, most regs expect to see the nuts more often than not when facing a wierd check raise on the river, therefore I expect to get plenty of fold from his value range, too lazy to do any more math now, but I will look it up later haha :f_pleased:
add to that, what could we bluffing with a part from a pair turned into a bluff, or an oop float that decided to play wierdly and check raise on the river?? one of the only bluffs that makes sense to an observant player is our exact hand along with some combos of 8x 22-66; and all those are pairs turned into a bluff, I assumed that he is an abc solid reg and won't be outlevelling himself readless, most abc solid regs don't expect others to start turning pairs into bluffs early on a hu match, it's like a population tendancy imo, that's what most abc winning regs believe in. so putting ourselves in vilain's shoes, our bluffing range is so narrow, while he cannot discount some nutted combos that are trying to play funky to get more value, making him hate life with A7 or whatever he probably had :f_biggrin:
plus we have the J blocker to some J3 combos that he might bet and then decide it's exploitable to fold, and go on "lolgtoIcall" mode. Minor blocker effect obv but it should count as an argument for turning our exact hand into a bluff.
so to sum it up, vilain is capped, we have some nutted hands in our range when we check raise river, and we assume that he will overfold too many value combos, I think this makes it a mandatory bluff, even if we get called we'll have a monkey image, wich can't be bad long term too :f_biggrin:

So after 6 months I think it's time to review some of our long term goals:
- Monthly average of 75k hands a month min with a 5bb/100 winrate at minimum. failed partly: average hands/month is around 44k, winrate 5.2bb/100 wich makes feel a little bit better about this one, because I think my wr would've been lower if I played more hands.
- only withdraw rakeback for living expenses failed miserably haha I have a lot of things to learn about money management :f_biggrin:
- withdraw 5000euros to neteller for a new car, as my current one is as good as a mule. obviously failed
- withdraw 1700us for a trip to morroco in mid april. done :f_biggrin:
-constantly review sessions and work on mental game mostly. partly done, still alot of work to do though

and here is my graph for this year, in term of bbs, posting in $$$ will mess it up because of the georgian site currency.

but for the past 2 months I've been trying to take aggro shots on 888 nl50/100, I ran so bad EV wise that I started thinking there might be a doomswitch button :f_biggrin:

so I decided to reevaluate things and start from the bottom at another site, pokerstars seemed a good choice because 888 software tilted me so much, so at the moment playing nl25 regular tables and it's going alright, will post graph later :)

getting destroyed so hard, one of the worst runs I've ever had in my life. trying to keep a solid mindset and readjust my game, but EV has been so cruel to me this year I'm thinking I might be cursed or sthing.
will update in the next few days if I dont go broke haha

some good news to write here finally, still trying to beat nl25 @stars, wich isn't going too well EV wise but we're still in profit, but the really good news is that I binked a second place in a donkament for 1.3k :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin
and graph for this month on stars, mostly 25nl

so I will start playing nl50 tommorow and hopefully we run a little better and make some $$$, will try to keep a solid mindset and move down if I feel my game need reevaluation.

tough month overall, still grinding nl50 on stars with a rather mediocre winrate so far, will have to put more volume on august and see how it goes.

so moved back to 888 for the last 20k hands, took a shot at nl100 wich didn't end up too well so back to nl50. very tough stretch overall, 1bb/100 with an ev of 3.4bb/100.

haven't played there for a year, I used neteller to depost, withdrawals went smoothly after verification, usually taking less than 2 hours, no problems at all iirc.
