Open raiser is an aggresive fish, 56/21 on 58 hands.

I think my preflop line is questionable, maybe I could have just called pre... But I think I'm ahead of his range and I also want to play HU vs him...

As played postflop, I guess the river is a fold since he might have any random 3 or something? His sizing (in general this sizing from fishes on the river... ) looks pretty suspicious to me, I don't think he bets that much with an Ax (which would a split), maybe with air but I'm not sure, this might be a way ahead way behind situation where in the long run its actually pretty close w/e i do ...

But do you agree river bets almost-pot-size from a fish are sooo strong that it is most of the time a value bet?

Preflop my standard play is flat with ATs. Problem with isolation is, that fish is first and when he call, then BTN has better price.

Postflop - not sure, but when we are not too happy to bet or x/c blank river (I´m not sure what to do here too because he´s aggresive and we don´t look very strong) and we don´t bet 2 streets for value, what about x/c turn (board is still quite dry) and go for one street on river?

I'm not sure what would be the best preflop play 8-handed, but 6-handed I would usually just call. Postflop I guess not many worse hands will call, so I like checking and calling at least one street, but I would probably check/call two. As played, when this river comes, we split vs any Ax, except AK and A8, but A8 is very unlikelly and AK is sometimes 4betting preflop. It's close, but I wouldn't mind calling.

With call we won't achieve anything. ATs is not a hand we would like to play OOP in a mw pot. We would not call it from SB vs MP either...
We would be dominated, the Flush would be obvious and hard to play OOP.

if he is fishy enough why not to bet flop for around 70% and his pot to stack ratio wil be enough to just ship to his face.

Anyway I don't like checking flop vs fish, cuz from my experience they are not bluffing often enough on A high boards , so I preffer plan to bet 3x 1/3 pot or make big bet on flop and ship turn
