can we call twice here if I knew we was only betting aces or flushes on the turn?

would say he's gonna check back majority of the 4flush rivs OTR and also his aces so I don't think I have any implies either

to answer your question if u can check call here twice, you have to answer the question What other hands are you x/calling in this spot.

However I strongly preffer to fire 2 barrels for 1/2 of the pot, because there are still weaker hands calling , and hands he could bet probably are calling aswell plus as a bonus you have fold equity in this spot.

I think cbet here is highly more profitable than check on the flop

And as you said when u x/call you're face up to have K♦:

i think i am for sure betting otf here like 1/2 of the pot..and as kalecia says i might go for another fire ott...dont think i would be inclined to x/c here..

why are we betting the flop? feel like id rather keep his range wide and x/c to let all his bluffs bet once and I think hardly ever bluff off to put me in tough spots.

I don't see what betting the flop accomplishes, if you want to barrell just use KdQx, KxQd by betting we just fold out all his whiffs and continue vs Ax and some combo draws and probably even fold out all his Tx hands

alot of diamonds are blocked fairly hard with the A/K/T/7 out which basically leaves like QJdd or 89dd which are combo draws, Ax and some whiffs

i don't see many weaker hands calling and think x/c to let him stab is much more +EV than cbetting and continue against a range we don't do well against.

i xc twice no problem. how can you know he "was only betting aces or flushes on the turn"? if you know for sure then its just a matter of pot odds poker 101

Board is monotone. No way villain will stay wide here.

I agree wich x/c twice. Also I don´t see why to bet flop. We have FEQ but on which hands - any better?

Are there weaker hands calling?

Yes, but also many better hands. Also our implied odds will not be so great on 4flush board so I prefer to potcontrol here.

if another flush card will kill the action isn't it better to bet?

So we want to bet for value on a ace high mono with second pair? Betting as a semi bluff doesn't seem correct with showdown value and a draw

If your plan is to x/c twice and make ur villain to dictate price I think it's better to make the lower price by ourself

I don't see that many bluffs shooting multiple streets, do you? I would probably just keep the betting to myself.

Yes. You can use a little bit smaller sizingin addition.

Villan checked the turn and showed down a low pocket pair

The flop should be a standard check/call to let him stab and my question was about the turn that I don't expect many players firing the turn again without an ace or flush so I guess it's a pot odds question as tomaloc said

I really can't see anything good that comes from c betting. We don't need protection vs his folding range and we can't bet for value.

Don't u think that almost every hand with :diamond: call once ? maybe even Tx calls if u bet small if we assume Tx calls it's a easy vbet, just a matter of sizing

On monoboards many one-diamond hands can call, and many others won't call because it looks too scary. Thus we can bet as many of the folding hands will not call even on later streets. Why x and give them free cards.
I do not like to x down our hand.

Villain looks fishy that's why I am fan of betting here
