On the turn you pay 2,17 - this does not justify the call because with roughly 10 outs you have ~25% of the times a card on the river that improves you.
So, the only reason you call are the implied odds and then: raise!

He was left with 17,19, so I didn't exactly know what would be the best sizing. My hand is pretty obvious when I raise, so I'm not sure that he will pay much bigger raise (he probably wouldn't call a shove). But I agree that the sizing could be at least 3x.

#4 Steal/calling with KQs, think it's ok. Then trying to float the board he cbets 100% probably and give up on the turn. Not sure of this play, either

Hey, I just came back to poker and dont really have time to study ur whole blog, but IMO floating on this kind of texture from my experience is not good idea because expect backdoor flushdraw and backdoor gutshot you can't really represent much even if he checks the turn your showdown value is still bad. In this kind of situations I strongly preffer raising(with reads) or rather folding(without reads). However I might be wrong, because I am just noone

I think we shouldn't fold too much to cbets because it could have a big negative impact on our winrate. Currently I am folding too much to cbets. I think this is the situation we generally don't want to fold the flop when we have two overs and a backdoor FD. When we decide to defend vs cbets, the best strategy is to raise drawy boards and call dry board. I believe this board is kinda in the middle, so maybe we could raise there. If we have a read that the opponent cbets flops alot and gives up turns alot, we can float him and try to take the pot on the turn and sometimes river. If we have a read that the opponent cbet/folds alot (like 60%+), we can raise him.

Ye bro I agree with you about not folding too much, but isn't it better to just close eyes and raise/fold and dont give a shit anymore ? You can happy raise him to 5,3$ and all u need is 50% FEQ which I belive u often have in this kind of board, you can raise even less to 4,5$ or smth like that so u need even less FEQ but I'm too lazy to count it right now. Calling from my experience not an option to win a hand ♦

Horrible week is behind me. As soon as I increased my bankroll a bit, I hit a downswing again and lose all the winnings, which is very dissapointing for me. So after 32 weaks I am almost excactly where I was at the beggining of the chalenge.

I decided to take a break from playing today and will play a week without checking the monetary results because I think they are putting too much pressure on me. I'm even thinking of quiting the challenge and not checking the results for the whole month, but will see how it goes.

I had so much of bad luck this week, so I hope the next one will be better. Here are the biggest losing hands:

There is no reason to raise this flop. You don`t represent anything, but bluffs. If someone raise me on this kind of board I reraise him with my air and call with SDV.

This year is brutal because seems like I'm in the constant downswing, so I just can't go up, even I'm constantly working on my game. Which is even more annoying is that I manage to have very good results at one point and then I start to hit cooler after cooler (big ones and small ones) for like 10k hands and lose all the profit. It happend to me 4 or 5 times this year. In addition, I'm always at least 2-3 bb/100 below the EV. With the volume I can get with my fulltime job, those things are disasteres for my winnings and overal enthusiasm for the game.

As planned, I played a week without tracking how much I win/lose, so it was a surprise for me when I checked the results today. Actually, I thought that I was break even and maybe slightly losing. But hey, I have nothing against a profit, as well.

Had some really unlucky spots, like...

...but that's poker.

I found playing without checking the results as a usefull thing for me. It's not like I am complettely careless about the results, because I'm aware of losing and still feel the anger about it, but it's somehow easier when I don't record my results when a session ends. I'm trying to think that I'm playing for the weekly results and a single session's result is not that important any more. It would probably be even better if I would check my results only at the end of the month, but it's something I will consider in the future. The bad thing is that I would have to opt-out from the Challenge. Let's keep it this way for now.

Since I'm trying to improve my 3bet and squeeze stats, I'm trying to concentrate on those spots while playing and I allready see some results, but will see at the end of September are there some real improvements. My impression is that I pretty much have a decent knowledge about 3betting and squeezing (a little less about squeezing), but sometimes avoid to do it with a wider range, both for value and as a bluff, because I'm scared of the lack of fold equity, ending up in a dificult spot postflop, or I'm just overestimating the stats I have on my opponents. I just have to play with more rationality and less emotions, which should be easier if I wouldn't be so results-oriented (and this new no-tracking-the-results thing should help with it).

I usually just call QQ MP vs BTN 3bet against unknown, but if the BTN is on the aggressive side, I think it's fine to 4bet. I wouldn't shove, though, because we will probably be pretty much isolated vs KK+ when he calls, imo.

But lets say that 3-bettor is a fish, they dont usually play 100bb deep, in general, do they call 4-bet shove wide enough for you to shove QQ?

Vs fish I generally tend to go broke with a wider value range, especially vs those which are not fullstacked. But I think it's also opponent dependent and stack sizes dependent. Smaller stacks, wider value range. For example, vs 50bb stack, I will go broke with something like 88+,AQ+, but vs 80bb stack, I would go broke with like JJ+,AK+. Not sure if my strategy is correct, but I picked up this somewhere in the videos. Vs like 50bb stack and smaller, I would shove, but vs higher stacks, I would rather make a normal 2,2-2,5x 4bet.
